Super expensive. Expect to pay at least $20 per a person. Their appetizers are at least $10 each. I got the fried rice and char siu and it was heavenly. It was the best fried rice I have had in a very long time. The char siu was also very good. My partner got the beef tenderloin curry and it was alright. I wouldn’t recommend it however. I would try to fried rice and char siu if you try this place! It’s so good!

I was impressed how fast the food came out. Just wished it remained hot... Didn't feel the AC was cold enough to cool it down, makes my think the food was prepped ahead of time then heated up because the taste was kinda bland. For the price it's pretty decent.
Can't go wrong with getting their signature dishes like volcano beef and chefs shrimp balls.
It's not a flawless experience but above mediocre.

They have an extensive menu with many vegetarian options. There were many locals there in their COVID compliant dining room. We were picking up only one dish and ran into a neighborhood local who raved about the place. The service was extremely quick and the Salt and Pepper Tofu was delicious! Judging by the crowd of what appeared to be regulars, the reviews on the wall and the yummy dish we sampled...we were fortunate to find Mini Garden.

Great Chinese food here! Plenty of seating, service can be suboptimal but for the most part acceptable. Pricing reasonable. This place is best for groups!

My wife was craving Chinese food during our trip to Hawaii, so we found this place. The food was good, and there were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The kids really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was typical Chinese restaurant. The staff was friendly and serve speed was quick. We came a couple of times, especially when we had to do laundry.

“Taste” is everything with me and my family, and the food at this place was absolutely amazing and delicious!! And to top it off, the prices were extremely reasonable. I actually had to look at my bill twice! The owner Kana was very cordial and would continually check on us. Wow! Loved everything about it!!

One of my all-time favorite restaurants to dine in or get take out. The food is always great quality and delicious. There are also hearty vegetarian options, and the food stays true to fine Chinese dining. The service is also fantastic as all the employees are well mannered, and they always offer free dessert when dining in.

I really enjoyed it there. We went twics in that month. Food is good (except for the summer rolls). Shrimp fried rice is stellar. Noodle dishes are good, as is the duck with buns. The minute chicken and walnut shrimp were pretty good too. Service is not the best because the two times we were there, there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant, which was full to the gills. BTW, this was lunch, so I'm not sure about dinner service. I want to go back again...when time isn't an issue.

I really love this place. Chinese food can definitely be hit or miss. But Mini Garden doesn't disappoint my family. We love the owner Kana and the things we eat, we really love. Their dessert which is complimentary is a lovely ending to the meal.

Super tasty food, convenient parking, and fantastic service - we were welcomed in for a take-out order even after closing! Totally not expected, but much appreciated. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced.

Stopped by on a random Wednesday evening and the place was busy. They have a shared parking lot on the side of the building and there wasn't a spot open. However, I was craving Chinese food so I took a chance. I put in my order and waited for 40 mins for my food. Did I mention this place was busy, there was only 1 waitress working 2 tables of 10, and 5 tables of 2, as well as all the phone/walk in orders which I counted 7 while I was there. But the food is so delicious that it was worth the wait. The pricing is fair and menu has items that you don't always see at other Chinese restaurants. The waitress was super nice and attenuative to all her customers. My advice if you choose to takeout, order online at minigardenhawaii.com I think it's easier then waiting.
