Review Zippy's - Honolulu

Food here was pretty good! The Pork Eggplant was a little light in flavor, but we're okay with that. Sweet Sour Spareribs were good and homely. Mac Salad was saltier than expected. The Teri Beef, however, stole the show. It was the best in flavor. We also got Corn Chowder, which was pretty good. Service was not the best. Our server brought our food, saw our glasses were low, said she'll come back and fill them up, but went missing for the rest of the meal. We asked for the check, and were presented with two checks. Turns out the waiter had entered the wrong items initially, opened another order with the right items. We had to double check to make sure we weren't charged twice. That aside, this is good, homely food. Would recommend for the Teri Beef alone.

Ate Kokua Pac for $10.42 tax included. The price was great and the food was great too. They really gave enough to fill my tummy. This is a real cheap eats.

One of my go-to places when we have potlucks in the office. Order the day before so it'll be ready for pick up next day. Super friendly auntys work the breakfast shift.

First timer - glad I tried it! The Zippy's Pac supreme was pretty good all around with good variety and crispiness. The oxtail soup was good but really not worth the ~27 dollar price tag - apparently it used to be ~17 and that would be an agreeable amount. LOVED the glazed mochizada though and it'd be even better warmed up :P

Very friendly staffs. I ate many desserts after chicken. I felt I gained 20lbs after this dinner 😂. Brownie with nuts and rainbow cake were good.

First Time visiting. The young lady Melissa who took Our Order was very pleasant. We took our time ordering. The only Problem is that they don't serve Wings Or Breast. They don't even serve Yellow Mac & Cheese. The Hot Dog is a Different Brand. We were able to order and Dine In after. They also serve dessert. Handicap parking available.

Great eats after our morning at the beach. We went late June and we are comforted in the safety practices of the restaurant. We made reservations on an app, before seating our temps were checked, and plexi glass separated the customers. Very clean and staff were great! Wish we had Zippys in Los Angeles!!

Staff very warm and friendly. As usual food excellent. We had party of 14 and accommodated our group with a smile. My favorite restaurant whenever I return to Oahu. Best saimin.

I was in the area and decided to go to a familiar restaurant chain while waiting for a meeting. Everyone was pleasant and i had to show my vaccination card, ID, and take my temperature with a free standing machine. I was seated in a booth which all had plexiglass dividers to social distancing. The food arrived very fast. My waitress was very pleasant and i asked if i could stay until my meeting started within 1hour and 30 minutes, she told me take my time. She was great.

Call ahead of time to make a reservation, go in sit down and order the SURF PAC and shut up about it. I ate the whole plate and didn't care, even ordered some Malasadas to go. Nice people, great service, clean joint, free parking and some good down home local eats. They had to roll me out of there and I barely made it out alive. Yeah, thats how good it was. COMFORT FOOD.

I got the local favorite spaghetti with meat sauce. It hit the spot! Service was fast and friendly. Looks like they've made updates to the building.

In general, Zippy's is one of the best local "go to" spots! Went here today for some comfort food and got their chili moco plate. Instead of mac salad, got tossed greens instead, just to be a bit healthy 😅. Food came out quickly, taste is consistent, always hits the spot!

Better than you'd think.. I didn't expect much from Zippy's... it's fast food. But it was quick and good. Tasty french toast, good bacon and eggs cooked just as ordered each time. When we're in a hurry, we like Zippy's.

Slow Service & Expensive. I am not sure how much the other reviewers are tipping the Zippy's employees, but the service is slow here. I tried to get my zip pac before I went surfing and it took at least 20 minutes before I got my food. I paid like almost $9 for that zip pac that took 20 minutes. This place is slow. Don't go here.
