Chengdu Taste Honolulu - Honolulu - Photo album

After one week stay in Hawaii, I am really glad we found this typical Chinese taste! Yummy for everything! Won’t miss home since I fed myself good! Love it!
Really enjoy the green beans, toothpick cumin lamb, the fried chicken, and tan tan mian. We got the fish pieces this time and it was a little sweet, wanted even more fire in the belly. Overall very good and way better than most Chinese restaurants in the US, but there’s a little space for more heat.
We enjoyed everything we ordered. The food is ready very fast so some dish didn’t taste freshly prepared. Maybe it may not be true for every dish but fried rice was ready immediately after we ordered and it was not hot as it came out from wok so we wondered if it was made in advance. Other items
Nice and wonderful dinner. Recommend green beans, bingfen, fried rice tastes ok.
A little less salt than usual chinese restaurant. Bobo chicken the one in the stick very few chicken lot of something like mushroom, quial eggs and tofu like. Beef < Onions. Taste okay We order online but it took us a while since there are no description on the menu and we have to call to ask litt
Got takeout from here. We love the original restaurant in LA and had high hopes for this location. The food was delicious but needed more salt. Get the green peppercorn fish fillet. I'd avoid the sauteed cabbage (really under salted). The Chengdu fried rice was nice and light
Are you looking for super doper spicy food? Well Chengdu taste is the place your looking for! It’s has the MOST SPICY food in the whole wide world, it has food like Kung Fu chicken, BBQ, noodle and many more that awaits you to come and eat. If you have a small child or a person who can’t eat spicy,
Love here so much! The staff are so nice, without them i don’t know how to handle all the things on my own. My boy friend has a emergency seizure for no reason, the staff help us with the luggage, and accompany me until we went to the hospital. Thank you all so much!!! Forgot to ask your names, but
I've been to this restaurant like ten times now. The food and the service has been consistently excellent every time i visit. Extremely authentic sichuan taste, definitely the best if not one of the best on the island. The spice level and flavor are on point for each of the dishes yet not salty at a
First off parking can be sparse so you may have to look around or use the valet, the restaurant is located on the second level and is very busy so definitely make a reservation. They have a sign up sheet as well but you may be waiting a while if you go that route. All safety precautions are being ma
If you want to try some Authentic Sichuan food, you should come here. I love spicy food but not for the numbing feeling. They have options for less spicy and no numb. Definitely will come back here again when in Honolulu.
Delicious! One of Keeaumoku's best kept secrets. Visited Chengdu once a few years ago. The food here is spot on. Eat in or take out, me and my friends love it here. The food is tasty, spicy, and makes you want to come back for more! Sometimes this place gets packed, so you might want to come early..
A vendor treated me to lunch at Chengdu Taste … It was my first time here. You order your food online and a server brings the dishes to your table. We ordered three dishes … Boiled Sliced Fish in Hot Sauce, Toothpick Lamb with Cumin and Szechwan Tan Tan Noodle. The lamb was first to arrive …. Petit
Don’t miss out it if you love spicy food and wanna have some real Chinese food, absolutely they serve other foods that are not spicy as well. It is one of the best Chinese restaurants on the island. And the price is really reasonable on the expensive island. Wish you guys have great business everyda
Went here for the first time with my boyfriend on Wednesday, June 22nd for dinner and this place is wonderful! Food was amazing and service was great! I will definitely come back here again to try more of their food. Strongly recommended!
Good authentic Szechuan's regional food which is known of its spicy foods. A little pricy for the amount of food but still worth to go every now and then. Cost between $20-25 per person plus tips.
