Review Hawaii Pot Shabu Shabu House - Honolulu

Ooo I'm a fan! The conveyor belt style restaurant immediately gave me "less than" expectations, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised. The assortment of soup additions is vast and fresh. Tons of seafood, meat, and vegetables. There's a fridge with trays of fish balls, prawns, tofu, and more. Honestly, the selection is overwhelming. To say that our meals were satisfying would be an understatement. The individual soup bowls made everyone happy, being able to have their own broth flavor. They even let me combine two broths to make my own flavor. It was excellent! I highly recommend the curry broth for the spice. All of the soup additions are fresh and well-made. It's affordable and service is good. I can't wait to come back!

This place is so much fun! I did shabu shabu in Japan but this was more fun. The staff explained the process and everything was so tasty. They also had a sauce menu so you didn’t have to stress about creating your own. Tasty and fun!!!

Great hot pot! If you want to ensure a great experience... specify that you want to WAIT for a table. I went twice here... On my 1st visit with my hubby was AWESOME and we had a table so enjoyed our time and meal perfectly. My 2nd visit was with my mom and we got a counter seat.... They made us move TWICE to accommodate a large party and Sat them snack dab squashed next to us.. even tho had other open seats...which was a lil annoying and tacky especially because we literally had to stand up... Move all our plates TWICE. I LOVE the food but would opt to try elsewhere after our 2nd less than stellar experience.

Awesome for first time! Conveyor belt and refer to choose your shabushabu items. Great selection and decent pricing. Just a little hard to find...

Yeah, we clearly meet my match. Ate ourselves into a food coma. Hawaii Pot Shabu Shabu House is a must visit place to eat if you come to Waikiki, Hawaii. It's a super cool place that has food for everyone from the hard-core vegan to the meat eater and everything in between. 😋🥣🍜

We had a great and fun dinner! Cozy but clean place. Fast and friendly service. Miso soup base is highly recommended. We did individual soup. Meat choices were ribeye, premium beef and pork belly, more other meats are available. Shrimp, shell fish and fish are also available. I love their condiment corner, I usually experiment and make my own mix of spicy yummy sauce. We had the deep fried ice cream!

Hawaii Hot Pot, I haven't been to this location in town yet! BUT!!! I have recently visited the location in Aiea at Pearlridge Center Mall. Which us newly opened. The service honestly...could have been alot better... 😮‍💨🤨 But to say the least, the foods taste makes up for the lack of customer service. The variety of soup bases is really nice. The variety of food choices to add to your personal pot... amazing. They even have a variety of sauces you can add to your pot as well! 😍 But as for the customer service.... You write down your name, they're supposed to call your name, if not they have you write down your phone number, they didn't even call our phone number. They call the next person after us, claiming they called for us. But they didn't, so, we stood there for a good 5 minutes as they cleaned up the table and seated us. I mean, there was also a bit of language barrier. but none the less...it could use some work. The only thing that would keep me going here is their food. Nothing less.

Best of all you can eat. A lot of different varieties or meat, sea food and vegetables. Most of the items will revolve around over the belt. If you are not getting it over the belt just walk and pick up. Good facilities. Do not try seafood base, its bland try some other soup base to enjoy best taste of the place. If you do not like spice than you can try the seafood one.

Really a nice place to go when you are hungry with an awesome all you can eat deal. The place is set up very nice with a conveyor system that has a constant supply of fresh veggies, fish balls and dumplings. Fresh meats including rib eye, lamb and pork can be requested from your server. The kitchen is very clean and clearly visible through the large window on the back wall. Lots of patio seating on the front of the store. This place is located in the new 808 building across from the Wal-Mart garage on the bottom floor. They offer free valet parking in a unique elevator parking system. Very reasonable food and beverage pricing. We had all you can eat for two was under 60 bucks and we stayed about 2 hours. We loved this place and recommend it to others.

This was the first I’ve been here with friends. The service was great but you have to watch out on the seafood. I got a place of octopus and it smell fish so I did not eat it because it wasn’t fresh and did not want to get sick. Friendly staff. It can get quite noisy. Place is a little tight.
