Bale Sandwich Shop - Honolulu - Photo album

Delicious banh mi! Yum! Lemongrass tofu is so good and they put a great amount of crunchy pickled veggies inside and a great serving of meat/tofu. Their chicken manapaus was good too (they wanted it up there for me). Can't wait to try their ice cream next time.
Small shop.they have 3 tables inside and plenty outside. Mixed Thai and Vietnamese food. It's ok overall. Nothing special. Quick and easy for an hungry tummy. I had the Lemongrass Chicken bánh mì. It was alright.
There are many Ba-Le on Oahu and all are great. This one, like the others, has friendly and efficient people at the counter. I believe this one is different t in that there are more ready-made items for purchase straight off from the counter. There’s spring rolls and vermicelli, peanut candy, tapioc
Stopped to get ice cream, but ended up getting noodles and dumplings and tapioca puddings. Kids loved it and wanted another dish. Cash only. Chinese speaking staff. ATM right outside. Not fancy, but tasty Thai/Vietnamese/Chinese food.
This is one of the best Vietnamese/ Asian restaurants in Oahu. All of the food entries I ordered were really great. We came before their business open hours but the lady owner was willing to get us the food we wanted. Also, the day before, we forgot to order a Thai Tea drink but the owner gave it to
This is my favorite out of all the Ba-Le shops. They have the largest assortment of grab and go items as well as an extensive menu offering. Being a busy location, everything is freshly made and tasty. My main favorite is the French bread sandwich with pate and steamed pork. I don't know why, bu
Great place for a quick snack, desert or a Vietnamese dinner or lunch plate. I will be back again.
It's a hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop. An actual one, not a fancy/hipster/overly-stylish wanna be. The staff was relatively friendly and the bahn mi was tasty. Minus points for only taking cash, but many more plus points for the reasonable prices. Not too many seats, and the place could use a th
Great little lunch spot, sorry to see it closed by HART/ Howard Hughes redevelopment…after >25 years. The owner told me that they are now going to retire and that they were there BEFORE the Sports Authority opened. Wow!
Great selection. I am vegan, so lots for me to choose from. Wife and daughter from Tawain, so, gotta have the chicken wings. Try the Vietnamese iced coffee. Has a real kick.
This is the best food of any Ba-Le I've been to. Mostly I come here for the lemongrass chicken sandwich and a Vietnamese iced coffee. My friend orders jai, made fresh. 8 years ago I took some visitors to Ward Ba-Le. When they came to visit again last month they remembered it and wanted to go bac
Best beef broccoli on the island! I live all the way out on the west side and I drive all the way out there just to eat that, if you don’t believe go try it out everything’s good there. 👍🏾👍🏾I eat there all the time never got sick. also the lemon grass chicken sandwich is another favorite of mine👍🏾
Best sandwiches on the Island! This particular Ba-Le heats their LaTour Bakery Bahn-Mi rolls just right. It's an extremely light/soft French baguet with a perfect crunch. For about $23 I can get so fat there. Bubble Thai tea, Bahn Mi sandwich, tofu summer rolls, Coconut tapioca. Oi!
Good French Vietnamese food at a reasonable price. The chix sand on croissant is almost as good as the bahnmi version with a soft fried egg. Excellent lemon grass chix or dim sum after water spots at Kewalo Basin or Ala Moana Park.
