The shave ice at Uncle Clay’s HOPA is really, really, really good. It just not great. It is the best I’ve had on Oahu, but it doesn’t measure up to the standard set on the island of Maui.

I'm generally not a fan of the heavier sweeter ice cream with my shave ice but Uncle Clay's does it right with the perfect balance. You can really appreciate the flavors in the ice and as the ice cream melts in, it compliments the flavors very nicely.
Great shaved ice Hawaiian style. Dont pass up this delish treat. Easy to get to with free parking. Or if you are on the cruise stop. Walk to the shopping area and get this treat.
The shave ice was so delicious and refreshing. I especially loved the Hawaiian Rainbow shave ice. It was topped with Tahitian vanilla ice cream and chunks of mango and pineapple. The combination was so good!
