I loved everything about this place. The food selection is amazing. The staff was super friendly. If I had to choose between here and a "fancier" buffet like 100 Sails I would definitely choose The Buffet at Hyatt. Come here for a sunset dinner with your lover. You won't regret it 😉

Make sure to make reservations or walk-in right when they open. It gets busy. It’s on the third floor. Diamond head elevators. KAMAAINA DISCOUNT!:) Our server was a sweet local lady. Very attentive. Suggested a drink (I forgot the name. Sorry) and it was great! Lots of options!! Hand rolled sushi. Pick whatever you want rolled (egg, greens, salmon skin, etc) with choice of poke. CRAB OYSTER BAR!!!! Lots of fish options and meat. My favorite dish was the Kimchi carbonara. AMAZINGGGG. Dessert Bar!!!! CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!! SOFT SERVE. Super smart machine that has 5+ flavors! Sorry forgot to take a pic.

Lots of different dishes to choose from. This Korean BBQ buffet is a unique concept. The BBQ items were decent. Make sure to grab it when it’s freshly made because the meat gets soggy if it’s been sitting in the hot plates for too long. Best part was the seafood. The crab legs were great and they’re very generous with servings! Poke was also good as well as the hand roll sushi. Service was friendly and attentive.

Terrific food with a mix of the best Waikki offerings. Our waiter was top notch & service was incredible. My kids love it. Lechon was crispy. The salmon skin hand rolls were made to order. The kimchee pasta was ono! Of course, the poke & and seafood were fresh & flavorful. We were a happy family after this dinner.

The Buffet at Hyatt is not just another hotel buffet—it's a culinary experience that brings together a world of flavors under one roof. Located within the elegant environs of the Hyatt hotel, this buffet offers an expansive and diverse selection that's bound to please even the most discerning palates. Upon entering, you're greeted by a spacious, well-lit dining area adorned with chic decor and comfortable seating. The presentation of the buffet stations is visually striking, each one artfully arranged to showcase the culinary bounty on offer. The food itself is the star of the show. The Buffet at Hyatt offers a broad spectrum of dishes ranging from local Hawaiian fare to international cuisines. The seafood section is particularly noteworthy, featuring an array of fresh catches like sashimi, shrimp, and oysters. Meat lovers will appreciate the carving station, where succulent cuts are served hot and seasoned to perfection. Vegetarian options are plentiful and creatively prepared, ensuring there’s something for everyone. In addition to the main courses, the dessert section is a dream come true for those with a sweet tooth. From tropical fruits to decadent pastries and cakes, the offerings are both diverse and delicious. Service is attentive, with staff members consistently circulating to clear plates and offer refills on beverages. Despite the bustling atmosphere, especially during peak hours, the team manages to maintain a level of service that makes guests feel well taken care of. That said, the popularity of The Buffet at Hyatt means that it can get crowded, particularly on weekends and holidays. Reservations are highly recommended, and even with a booking, be prepared for a short wait during busy times. Overall, The Buffet at Hyatt offers an exceptional dining experience characterized by quality, variety, and excellent service. Whether you're a guest at the hotel or simply looking for a luxurious dining experience, it's a destination that promises to both satisfy and delight.

5 stars for seafood. 3 for meat and 1 for dessert. Seafood: Snow crab and oyster are sooo fresh. Worth the money! Meat: Korean style rib is good, rest are okey Dessert: don’t expect too much from the dessert…

The food was great, the laulau was juicy and very ono. The laulau was probably the most eaten food while we were there and we were close to closing time, aside from the crabs. We had an hour wait and our time estimate was 9pm but luckily there were some interesting things to do for an hour. We also got the kamaaina rate, 25%. The buffet was a wide variety of food, I'm not sure if it's the same food everyday but I would say it was a good selection of food. Anyways, cash, check, debit/credit accepted. Bathrooms available too, without the use of an access card, escalator and elevators available to carry our full selves, enough seatings for a group of 5-10 (maybe). There are outside balcony seating with a tent, tables for 2, 4. Parking with the valet is available but we didn't utilize the valet parking. I think they validate the valet parking since our waiter asked. The buffet is on the 3rd floor after walking past the hotel gym, until you see people eating. You really can't miss it. Anyways, see pics. Aloha. Edit: We recently visited on October 10 and they have added more and taken some off the menu too. They have pasta, a kids menu which had mac n cheese and chicken strips, also juice. They have taken off the sashimi which they used to have but no more. They do have California sushi though. The menu may have changed according to the seasons. (I'm assuming). Some of the menu are still served.

Located at the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki on the 3rd floor of the Diamond Head Tower. Parking across the street from the hotel is very tight, but validated. Great tasting food! Excellent service! Service personnel are very attentive clearing used dishes, refilling water, etc. We came in early (5pm) and it was noisy from the drums of the show outside. After that was done (maybe 6pm?) we could hear the live music. Time limit per seating is 90 minutes.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a huge fan of buffets. But this one was quite the exception. The variety and quality of the menu offered was incredible. We went on a Thursday night and enjoyed king crab legs, snow crab, oysters, prawns and a heart selection of nigiri sushi and fresh poke. Not to mention a beautiful prime rib carving station and huge variety of hot items like Lau Lau, garlic chicken, and braised pork. They also offer a nice selection of salads and desserts. We were overly satisfied with this experience and can’t wait to come back again. If you’re a fan of buffets or enjoy a diversity of items to feast on, The Buffet at Hyatt does not disappoint.
