I recently visited New Eagle Cafe in Honolulu and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was cozy, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. The menu has a great selection of items to choose from and the prices are reasonable. I especially enjoyed the oxtail soup, which had a rich flavor and was served with a generous portion. Overall, I would highly recommend New Eagle Cafe to anyone who is looking for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.

Each of us ordered something different and we all enjoyed our choices. There was live music and it was a perfect balance.. not so loud you couldn't have a conversation and loud enough to enjoy. The restaurant is renovated and seems brighter than my last visit there, which was over 5 years ago. A Korean woman came out to serve my bi bim bop and explained the ingredients and suggested how to use the condiments. Definitely somewhere I would go again and take friends and family... prices were a little high, but it's about average of what other restaurants are charging for food.

This is the new ownership that took over 2022 according to what I have heard. The place is fully renovated and has a great look. The menu has definitely changed in a big way. I miss the open fCe turkey sandwich and much more. Miss going with my buddy Andrew [RIP] was his favorite place. I would like to say the wait staff is very polite and just nice people. You have to try the Sizzling Hamburger Steak.... so good. Thier Mac salad is pretty good as well.

The spicy pork (and now the sizzling pork belly) were delicious but the service is still a bit slow. There was live background music for the evening meal yesterday. That was nice.
I live on a different island but I always make it a point to stop in; twice on this visit. The atmosphere is comfy, the staff is friendly and the food is portioned for hungry people. Most importantly to my always busy day, the booth seats are not uncomfortable so it's relaxing to linger for coffee after the meal. LOL, priorities.

My wife and I went here for the first time in over 15 or so years. There is a new owner. She used to own Cafe Olive (an Italian restaurant) in Wahiawa. She then closed that restaurant and leased the restaurant space at Mililani GC. After five years they tried to up her rent DURING COVID 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️. She didn't renew and ended up buying "New Eagle Cafe". They have happy hour if you want to have a few adult beverages after work and looks like a good pupu menu.
My wife ordered a salmon salad and I had the sizzling hamburger steak. My wife and I both enjoyed our entrees.
One thing I know about the owner is this:
1. She renovates her places
2. The service is good
3. I like her food
Stop in, form your own opinion. While there, I saw a friend and she said she ate the prime rib and she really liked it.

Fantastic food!! Huuuge portions!! Definitely enough to share 3 ways!! It was very clean and the restroom was immaculate and smelled nice, which is a big deal for me, especially in a restaurant! The staff was very kind and accommodating!! Highly recommended!!

Very friendly staff in this family style restaurant with good food. I had Mahi Mahi in buttery wine sauce with capers. It was very tasty, my friends liked their Loco moco, burgers and looooved their French fries!

Local kine foods with excellent service, the wait help here are pleasant and attentive. The food may take some time. but I believe it's because that they're cooking most of the dishes fresh. Give their sizzling platters a try, dinner and a show all in one.

Soda tasted like dish soap. The potatoes were the terrible box powder kind. The brisket was fatty and undercooked. The chicken was dry, fatty and basically coated in chili powder and not much else. <br/><br/>My wife's burger had bits of gristle and bone in it. <br/><br/>The Mac salad was good. That's pretty much it.

My wife and I went to this lousy restaurant on February 20. We hadn't been there in quite a while and thought we would give it a try.<br/><br/>Big mistake.<br/><br/>My wife's breakfast wasn't cooked properly and she had to return it. By the time we got the "servers" attention to find out where her meal was, I was done eating and her replacement meal was cold.<br/><br/>Bad Food, Lousy Service, Don't Go There<br/><br/>We will never go there again.

I had the sautéed Ono with the butter caper and it was not bad. The best part, although, was the hot and fresh biscuits being passed out around the restaurant. Pretty good overall fo a nice meal.

Honest Diner. Want haute cuisine? Go someplace else. Ditto artful plate presentations, hovering waiters or Waldorf service when the kitchen is trying to shift from breakfast to lunch. But for tasty, abundant and affordable grub, this is the place. We had carnivore urges so had their prime rib for two for around $38; tasty, satisfying and required two doggie bags later. We used to have one of these family diners within a couple of blocks of every residential neighborhood; you have to drive to this one, but it's worth it.
