Best sushi � on the island. We go 1-2x a week. It's a staple in our diet! The owner, Russell picks his fish, fresh every morning and really admires what he does. He treats his customers like GOLD and has the best sense of humor. We always hope that he serves us more than his staff. True passion = a great business & service.�
A little “hole in the wall” in Kaka’ako. The owner is there every day and makes sure the customers are taken care of. I have had sushi all over the island but this place has excellent quality sushi. If you want great fish and like the local Aloha vibe. This place is for you.
Incredible ✨ the food was amazing, the ambiance was on point, and the staff were wonderful- very kind & attentive. 11/10 thank you for a wonderful date night! Best food my boyfriend and i have had while visiting. We had the salmon lovers, the bomb roll & twister roll, happened to be our servers favorite and now ours!
I recently visited Ginza Sushi Restaurant during my trip to Hawaii and had an excellent solo dining experience. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations, and his customer service was top-notch.
I tried the lychee sake, which I enjoyed, and the edamame was a nice complimentary dish. The mussels miso soup was also delicious, and the '”Bomb” sushi roll was a baked roll with a little spice that was excellent.
The food is here delicious, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing.
We had a fulfilling experience. We sat outside near the tiki torches as I like open places and the restaurant was stuffy.
The food is super good, fresh and so flavourful . The staff is nice . My husband loved the sushi I loved the yakisoba and pickles
Will definitely go back.. paid approximately $105 along with tip and we also had beers. Today is our last day of trip and last dinner in Oahu is memorable.
Went in with my family got a late lunch. Server was great and the only person on the floor. We order a variety of things from upon to baked muscles and 3 rolls. Enjoyed all of it. Service was friendly and quick, food was great and price point was not bad. Def come here
Wow! Amazing, kind, welcoming service! Sushi melted in our mouths! Absolutely delicious and highly recommend dining here for Japanese cuisine! The Ginza sushi special was absolutely decadent and flavorful!

Excellent little sushi spot! Overall 10/10 (but limited experiences). I went here with a friend who's been a few times before, but it was my first time and we sat outside (so I can't comment on bathrooms or interior atmosphere).
Food: 10/10. We had the dragon roll, rainbow roll, fatty tuna and salmon sashimi, and spicy tuna hosomaki. Everything was fresh, FAST (talking less than 7 minutes between ordering and first plate arrival), and delicious. A lot of sushi places can struggle with quality and consistent ratios (too much rice), but our food was perfect and my friend attests that this is the norm.
Atmosphere: 9/10. Ginza is located in one of the many shopping districts in Oahu. You can park in the neighboring parking garage/shopping area, but be aware that the corners are quite tight and you may miss the turn for the garage at first (you have to pull through the garage bit, then turn left to go to the lower level). We sat outside, and it was a fairly quiet night (mid week, around 7pm). The sidewalk is at a bit of a slant, so adjust your things accordingly. I enjoyed being outside, although we did see some drunken shenanigans down the street.
Service: 10/10. Although we sat outside, we never felt forgotten or neglected. Drink refills came promptly and our food, as I said, was fast and excellent. Wait staff was quick, efficient, welcoming, and fun.
Overall, a great experience-- however, you should consider this review incomplete (no interior/bathroom comments this time).
We are visiting Honolulu and decided to get some sushis before going to Dave and Buster. Thet had good reviews so we went. That place is amazing ! Decor is very authentic and far from all the restaurants more modern around but family style, what we like. We met the owner s husband and his suggestions were amazing. He siggested to try bluefin tuna nigiri. OmG ! That was delicious ! Best sushis we ever had ! I am so glad i found that place. I totally recommend !
What an absolutely incredible experience here. The Sushi was wonderful, I had an absolute blast, and the ambiance was private and serene. Cozy, quiet, and delicious, I am recommending this place highly!
My mother came to visit and wanted good sushi, we got the twister and Aloha rolls along with a couple of spam musubis. We were greeted and seated quickly and given complimentary edamame.
