The wife's favorite shave ice on the island. Syrup is made with real fruits and flavors. Haupia is bomb. Their lunch bowls (pork, beef and oyako don) are winnahs too. Reminds me of a cute hole in the wall spot in Japan.

Get your fix of delicious home cooked Japanese food. Authentic Japanese flavors with the cute friendly customer service you'd expect from Japan. The shaved ice is amazing...their ice texture and home made syrups are so good! Street parking only. Tip: preorder your food so you're not waiting on the sidewalk in the heat.

Delicious, but next time I'll definitely side with the mini sized Pork Bowl. The regular size was way more than enough. The rice is SO filling and the pork is juicy. I hope you like pork fat because there's an abundance of that. I actually felt sick afterwards because I could stop eating. In the words of Louis CK, "The meal isn't over when I'm full. It's over when I hate myself."
Moderate foot traffic on a Saturday morning. Street parking available. Small interior but just enough for them to do what they gotta do.

Never had a bad dish here. Some of the best Japanese bento / plate lunch in Hawaii. It's cheap too. What it lack in frills it more than makes up for in high quality food and attention to detail while cooking.

Great place. They have significantly reduced their menu though to only three items. Don't worry, the pork bowl is still on the menu. Don't pass up the shave ice, it is fab!

Omfg that pork bowl. My tempura egg was a little over cooked so the yolk wasn't runny...I've featured those style eggs on a menu before and they are hard to nail but damn if the sauce and the pork belly didn't make up for it to the point of no care.

Only thing you need to get here is the pork bowls! So delicious when you top it off with Sriracha. Just ask the friendly workers for it.

Ono pork bowls and the tempura soft boiled egg is the winnah. Are they still closed though?

When dining here you need to try the shave ice. One of the best in town!
