I like this place because of the freshly made in-house noodles! There's a service charge of 16% added to the bill. It's obvious because of the machine they have in the back that makes their noodles. Tan tan ramen place. I've noticed that hawaii have couple restaurants that charge tips automatically and this is one of them (16%). Food was ok and service was decent.
This ramen was one of my favorite meals on Hawai'i. I got the spicy version of the basic pork dish and it was perfectly hot, the pork was tender and the broth oozing with flavor. Loved it and told my irritated family 100 times!
Curry meals great - one meal was the Curry loco moco which worked very well! Quick service initially but they forgot my second beer and then charged us for more drinks than the table had. No biggie - was sorted after a while though.
The spicy broth is great with the generous amount of ingredients. Overall good experience.
Enjoy the ramen. I’m sensitive to MSG and even though they admit there is some in the broth I can finish the whole thing without it bothering me. Nice place away from the crowds. I go often.
