Review Pho To Chau Restaurant - Honolulu

Most incredible pho I’ve ever had. Broth is to die for. They were so friendly too. It is cash only, so bring cash, but it is so worth it! This is the best meal we’ve had in Hawaii so far

Best pho comes with legendary bad slow service. But good things are worth waiting for! Amazing this place hasn't changed in decades - except for price rise

The go to place when u want a hot bowl of pho🤙If u like the garnishes of bean sprouts, basil, lemon, halapenos, hot oil and homemade chili oil sauce this place doesnt skimp. Go here so often that the lady knows my order, XL pho with beef and beef ball. 3 sisters know their role, one serves, one busses and the other is at the register and kitchen. Cash only, street parking or public parking areas down the street. Its been around for a while so its as clean as most chinatown restaurants but food is outstanding, especially with a hangover 😄🤙🤙

It’s a Hole-in-the-wall place….. let that be understood first. Is it gritty…yes. Is it dusty…yes. Is this the best bowl of pho in Honolulu…YES. Minimum amount of salt/MSG in their broth. The broth is simple and clean. The other pho places in town, you can tell the amount of MSG used(too much). To Chau opened in 1987. It was the first pho place in Honolulu. The same three sisters run the place. Nothing has changed since 1987… the old funky pictures, plastic plants, the vinyl chairs.

This place is a total gem! No hassle no fuss but serving one of the best pho on the island. This is not a fine dining restaurant but a cool local dining spot. ❤️

Cash only. I enjoyed the food. Sad I couldn't get the chicken or pork over rice noodles. But overall very delicious

I love eating pho here because they are very generous with the bean sprouts, basil, hot Chili, and the sauce.

I love this place! Although prices might be a little bit high compared to other places, the amount they give is A LOT! The only bad thing is the customer service- workers seem to be a bit strict. However, being a long time customer, we've talked to them and are pretty nice. Also, the taste of their pho is amazing, especially because their soup sets them apart from their competitors around them. Overall a great place to go. Totally would recommend it.

Service here is the best! The broth is not hot (temperature) and very tasty. Prices are reasonable considering everything is going up. You know the place is good when majority of the customers are from their home land.

This is a No-Frills place. However the food is excellent! The service is okay but to be honest you're not really going there for the service. The location is right on the Edge of Chinatown. The pho, as indicated by its name, is the main attraction here. Everything is delicious and you can't go wrong. Honestly, I've never been to Vietnam, but this is some of the best I've ever had. When I arrived at the restaurant there was a line out the door and this was a great sign. I was not disappointed and you won't be either.
