Review Pronto Pickle - Honolulu

The food is good and customer service is great. However, if you get omlete from the omlete station, you will get charge more. It's because you aren't getting continental breakfast anymore. It becomes American breakfast. And they don't tell you. You will see it in your check. Beware.

Okay, so this place is pretty pricey for a breakfast buffet, but it is so good!! For the full buffet it's $40 and for the "continental" buffet it's $30. The continental includes everything in the enclosed room: waffles, pancakes, traditional japanese breakfast foods, miso soup, rice, bao, potstickers, lots of fruit and breads and pastries, oatmeal, salad, and several types of juices. The full breakfast also includes an omelette station, bacon, sausage, malasadas, fried rice, potatoes, etc. My husband loves the fried rice so much, he would pay for the full buffet just for that! I love the tropical butters (mango and papaya, good on toast or croissants), the coconut syrup (I love it on rice), and the bao. Sometimes they have pork buns, and sometimes it's just the outside part of the bao wrapped up in layers, with no filling. They're both so delicious! They also have fresh lychees when they're in season, and the fresh papaya is great too. If you're staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village hotel, I recommend trying this breakfast at least once. It has a great view too!

The Holton breakfast buffet. Doesn't have too many kind for breakfast but taste is definitely good. Has regular traditional American breakfast such as cereals, yogurt, fruit, salad, bread, pancack, bacon, sausage. Coffee is serviced by personal directly to each table. Didn't find milk, only have some juice. The most fantastic is Asia food, Japanese miso shiru (soybean made soup) and natto (fermentated soybean). Some tradition Chinese breackfast which are not supervised such like rice soup, steamed dumpling and meat bun, sour/sweet or salty preserved vegitable. And fried rice with tradition Guangdong sausage. The actually amazing Chinese food is tradition Chinese food like bran dough ( Shanghai stryle food made fron gluten), fried bread stick, and Taiwan style crispy pork floss. The most unbelievable since is the most terrible food to American or European, the preserved egg (black with special smell which is supper terrible semlly as bad egg to some people, just like some special smelly cheese to some asian). I have to say, I missed these food for many years.... Also the food are not so many choice, but the taste is the real Chinese food. For some American had only Panda as 'Chinese' food in mind, they should try this true one here, instead of take Panda, the American-Chinese food.

I thought this was a pretty decent buffet. They have an omelette station, Asian breakfast items and a bunch of other goodies. The view here is pretty epic.

I'm giving this place a 4 just because of the price, $39 a person for a breakfast Buffett I think is steep even for Hawaii. With that said the staff is very attentive and the food was extremely good. They have a wide variety of items on the buffet and I didn't leave hungry.

They have an extensive selection at the breakfast buffet of the usual and exotic foods. I love the unlimited juices especially local pineapple. Our "server", Ha, was great and explained what the unusual dishes were. She kept encouraging us to eat more and even sent me with coffee to go. Pricey, but everything is around here.

Had free continental breakfast for 4 night stay. Always a 10-20 minute wait for seating. Large place. Upgrade to full breakfast for $10. Good choices for both options. Fresh and hot. Good wait staff. Good location. Omelets station. Mimosa and bloody Mary's available.

Ate here for buffet dinner on Christmas Eve. Good selection of main courses like prime rib and turkey. Good casual stuff for kids like corn dogs. Wide array of desserts. Free refills on sodas, too, if I remember correctly. Atmosphere-wise it's a big open space, almost like a cafeteria. There are water features lining the open border which are very pleasing. We had strong gusts of wind blow in during dinner (the place is basically open-air) but at least it wasn't a bitter, Midwest, winter wind!

We are just finishing our 4th of July buffet dinner which was AWESOME! It’s a resort. In the tourist part of O’ahu. It will cost $ but it’s well worth it. The staff are spectacular and the food plentiful & delicious. The restaurant is clean and they were speedy collecting finished plates. Snow crab legs, tender prime rib, gorgeously seasoned ribs and much more made for a filling night. The baked potato bar especially delighted my husband. The desserts were absolutely beautiful and delicious!! We live here on island and highly recommend the Rainbow Lanai. Yes there are birds - they will sneak past the netting. We kept watch over our food and they never bothered us. This is an outside patio setting in Hawaii...some nature is to be expected ;-)

Stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Rainbow tower. Went here for breakfast one morning. $50 per person all you can eat. Had American, Japanese, and Hawaiiam style breakfast times, they also had an omlet station. Food and service was nice.
