Went for a 7pm reservation, the service was amazing and the waitresses were very attentive but not overbearingly so. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. The food was delicious and I would recommend it to anyone looking for good sushi and Japanese cuisine. There also are bathrooms if you’re too
I live in a landlocked state. And I thought I've had pretty good sushi. But this place is as authentic as you can get without traveling to the country of Japan itself.
Generous cuts of fish. All super fresh, and an aesthetic that is old world Japan.

Wow! Let the girls know its your birthday. Free dessert, dance and song. What a nice surprise. The unagi bento was fatty and chewy. The sauce is the star of the show. Sushi zen was meh but the seafood tempura set made up for it. Yes, coming again for birthday.
The food was absolutely delicious! It was pricey but as others have said, the food is authentic, customer service excellent, and worth the money. If you are looking for a quaint little corner restaurant that serves traditional, high quality Japanese food, Yohei is the place!

Very nice place with Japanese vibe and very friendly staff!!! Food is delicious. Portions are big. If you want to feel yourself like in Japan you have to visit it. Located near the fishing pier but don’t pay attention to the area. It is worth it.
We went here twice during our 5 day stay in Honolulu, Oahu! I swore to only try out new places for every meal in Hawaii, but this place was worth coming back for the second time. Great food and service. Our first visit, ordered the Butterfish Misoyaki, the Hamachi Sashimi, and the soba noodle tempura combination all good.
Returning visit ordered the Tempura and Udon and the Sashimi Tataki and of course the Butterfish Misoyaki.
Super cute restaurant with very friendly staff. Also probably the best Japanese food i’ve ever had, and i’ve had a LOT.
The place is small and comfy. The employees have the Japanese spirit, respect, and manners that one expects of their culture. The food is on the high end but well worth the cost. Great place to bring a date.

Lovely restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and delicious food. We opted for the sushi noodle soup tempura. It definitely filled us up. Their hot tea hit just the right spot.

Always good japanese food. Been to Yohei many times and have not had a bad meal. I had the Kona Kampachi this last time which had the fish prepared as sashimi, nigiri sushi, and the belly fried.
They have table service and a sushi bar.
