Review Lion Coffee Cafe - Honolulu

Wonderful discovery on a Saturday driving around looking for good coffee. Had the Thai Latte and Lox Bagel…Delicious!

Wry friendly staff. Of course plenty coffee options. The place is very spacious and organized. As per customer service they used to serve some pastries but no more besides some rice bars. They have nice merchandise and wall for selfie

Lion coffee sells coffee for events. Can pay a deposit on these aeropress and choose whatever coffee you want. New lion is not as cool as the old one, but progress, right? Everything changes. Seems like more seating with the updated cafe area. They now have hot bentos and musubis, premade, in addition to the small cold selection and breads and cookies. Factory Tour available in English and Japanese.

I have been a fan of Lion Coffee for years. Every time I visit Honolulu I load up. This time we got a chance to go on the factory tour. Turned out there were the only the two of us so we had a private tour. The guide was very informative. We learned about the history of Lion Coffee and the process from start to finish. The smell of coffee in the factory was intoxicating! Parking - They have covered parking in what looks like the warehouse of a gazillion coffee machines. Very interesting. The coffee is not cheap but it was worth it, especially the 100% Kona. We got a 10% off coupon for being tour participant, but at the cashier there was some confusion as to what was covered by the coupon. We ended up paying full price for most. Not a huge deal but would help if the terms were clearly printed on the coupons.

They sell coffee and some merchandise, and there's also some exhibits and old photos. You can get hot or iced drinks as well. Kind of an unusual location, so it wasn't crowded. Parking on the street.

Great coffee! Nice and helpful staff. Large variety of coffees including a number of Chefs' Blends like Sam Choy, Roy Yamaguchi, and Alan Wong. Parking is a challenge. Somehow tourists manage to find their way there and seem to enjoy he coffee and shopping.

Amazing experience! First time in Honolulu, landed at airport and needed coffee! It was the first place we stopped at 10 mins from airport. Definitely worth a stop in! Extremely friendly and great coffee!

I enjoyed myself and the coffee. The tour happens M-F at 1030 and 1230. It was interesting and you get 10% off. Nice way to spend an hour

Rich history for a richer coffee! Looking for quality Hawaiian Coffee, look no further. Prices are super fair and their cafe is beautiful. Small coffee museum inside is a must for those interested in the coffee business and market here in hawaii. The owner is there and has worked hard to make this a great place with great people and coffee. The aloha spirit lives here and the people make it a great place to frequent!
