Great Experience. I read all the reviews on this restaurant and even though there were some negative ones, we decided to roll the dice and try it. We are really glad we did. It's too bad some of the folks didn't enjoy Spada but maybe they visited on a bad day. Luckily for my wife and I our experience was very positive - from the service to the food.
My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana and I had the linguine with shrimp. Both were prepared well and very tasty. I really enjoyed the sauce on my pasta and the shrimp were large, plentiful and cooked perfectly. The only negative was the broccoli that same with my wife's meal. It didn't taste very good and didn't seem fresh. But everything else was great. The hostess was very friendly and inviting and our waitress was very friendly and attentive without being a nuisance. We will return to this place for sure.
Excellent. Spada cuisine was a close to some of the 5 star restaurants experienced in Rome, Florence, Tuscany and Venice.
I ordered arriabata, which was not on the menu, and it was delicious.
Wine, bread and service was excellent.
Our bill was about $50. We felt quilty so we left a sizable tip.

This food and service was amazing! I really don't know where the negative comments are coming from. The Italian cuisine here is top notch. My Caprese salad was fresh and delicious and my scallops were perfectly cooked. My husband's pizza was out of this world! Great service too! Attentive and friendly. Reasonably priced for Waikiki as well.
Really good vegetarian omelette! Servers were friendly. Heard the place is under new chef, check it out.
The authentic flavors of the sausage and peppers was superb. The side of grilled marinated asparagus, delicious, but small at only 3 stalks (although still soo tasty and large). I can not wait to eat there again.
Spada was exactly the Italian flavor I was hoping it would be. The Puttenesca was fresh and left a wonderful aftertaste that blended away perfectly with the house merlot. My wife had sausage and peppers. If you have had " Italian sausage " then you will appreciate just how " Italian sausage " this entree is. Tiramisu for dessert just sweet enough to add a little extra flavor to the coffee.
Great food and friendly staff!!. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The young girl who waited on us was very friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff was lively and fun. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful evening!
This place is a find! Great prices, friendly staff and excellent food. I’m not sure why everyone complained about prices or service. Maybe they are used to McDonald’s?? The Lava Flow drink is a decadent sweet drink, spaghetti pomodoro is delectable and the bruschetta is divine, meatballs are perfect and the chicken piccata melts. Definitely a must go if in the area.
I needed a break from seafood and asian food, so we came here. Pleasantly surprised by the food. I ordered the fettucine Alfredo, and it came out fast, and was nice and hot, though lacking in a little seasoning, an easy fix. I had added meatballs to my order and they were well cooked, filling and tasty. Good portion sizes, our service was great.
Was skeptical because the restaurant was empty (it was late) but decided to try it anyway and definitely did not regret it. Pasta was amazing and the staff very friendly

It was good to have some good food. Although McDonald's and IHOP are close it's worth the extra few dollars.
We have ate out for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a week straight now. We started getting real tired of expensive food that tasted either sub-par or downright nasty. We stopped at spada for the early bird dinner special. Price was amazing for the area and the food... Best we've had yet. Service was fantastic. The only negative was no kids menu, granted it doesn't seem the place that wants screaming kids around anyway. (We got lucky with a mellow kid.) But we just ordered our son a cheese pizza and decided to take the leftovers for lunch. The pizza was awesome. Finally a pizza place that doesn't have a strong tomato taste. It was nice, mellow and sweet. 5 stars 6 if I could.

Really impressed with the quality of food and the portions, stopped by for supper and had a huge helping of Chicken Parm. Wife had a delicious Chicken Alfredo.
Servers were attentive and helpful, would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent Italian style supper at a good price.
We liked this place for breakfast as we are staying at the hotel.. prices are reasonable for Honolulu. It was nice to sit by the pool in the morning but the best was our server Ping was a joy and very attentive and gave us some great ideas for local food. We give Ping 5 stars!!! ... but food was good but not great but overall a pleasant morning experience.
I came in because it was the closest option, but the service was pleasant and the food surprisingly good. The salad, bread and bolognese sauce were all excellent, and the tiramisu was quite airy-tasty. This place is not trying to be more than a local American-Italian place, and it excels at that. The wine list is nothing to write home about, but has a couple Italian Chiantis that are good table wines. If youre looking for true Italian food, go elsewhere, but if you like American-Italian, this is the best at this price point you will find. This crushes Olive Garden.
