A good supermarket just a short bus ride from Waikiki.
Note, I'm a tourist not a local. Bought some candy & other items from here, that would no doubt have been a lot more expensive at the ABC stores.

A great alternative grocery store to Waikiki Market for those on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki. I like the savings you can get on their app. Safe, walkable area with good sidewalks and biki stations. I LOVE the flower selections here and they have lots of flower bouquet gift items like vases and stuffed animals.

The store is clean and smells nice, the selection of products is really good, just the prices are a bit higher than other supermarkets in the area

Join the club or waste $00's!! The discounts for Safeway Club Members are excellent. We either walk there and catch a cab home for our 2 week shop or you can also catch the bus but it wouldn't be good with ice cream. A huge range of foods of course and if you buy 6 bottles of wine there is a discount too. Manager's specials in the meat department are worth looking for and the sweet corn quality and pricing when its on special is great. Staff are friendly and the service desk will ring a cab for you.

Gosh I remember when it was a vacant lot , Safeway is located right next to me . At first was skeptical that we needed a mega store ( i use to call it Safeway spa and resort ) however it’s proven it’s worth Always paring , Always open you know what to expect and they are consistent

I love that Safeway is right here in Aikahi. The deli counter and self check out are great. I always wish for more fresh seafood, but it has gotten better over the years.

The associates are super helpful. I was helped by a young lady in the pharmacy today. I had to pick up a rx for my brother after leaving the ER. She was so super sweet and helpful. I also had assistance from a young man behind the meat counter who was helpful as well. The young man at the cashier was so patient and kind with multiple orders and bagging everything just so. You don't get that many places now days.
