This is my favorite matcha soft serve chain (which we are also lucky to have in the Bay Area) so the Hawaii location is a great spot to grab dessert. They are conveniently located near all the major downtown resorts and shops.
I love how creamy the soft serve tastes without being too icy over being too overpowering in matcha flavor. The waffle cone pairs perfectly and didn’t taste stale.
Love this soft serve chain. Had this before the ones in Flushing, New York and the Bay Area opened, and it didn't disappoint. If matcha isn't your cup of tea, definitely try the ube (or even the seasonal melon flavors, if they are available).
My fav matcha soft serve in Hawaii. They have occasional seasonal flavors but I always stick to matcha as it won’t go wrong. Waffle cone is delicious!
If you have hawaii ID they give Kama’aina discount which is nice.
We ordered Maiko Special (Matcha) and Uji Kintoki. Those were so good! Especially, Maiko special has a jelly, Azuki beans, sponge cake, corn flakes inside with ice cream topping. It was a great combination.
I didn’t know they have a kamaaina discount so I couldn’t get it. But if you are kamaaina, don’t forget to use it😄✨
I regret that I didn’t come here earlier, although I often passed by! My friend treated me to ube ice cream today and OMG I loved it! 😍 It’s like I’ve been looking for just such a taste all my life! It's not too sweet, it has a slight nutty taste (like pistachio), but it's not nutty! And the waffle is sooo delicious! 😋 In general, I have become a fan, now I will only go here for ice cream! Guys, don’t pass by, it’s really tasty, try it and you won’t regret it! If you show your local ID (kamaaina), there will be a discount))
Delicious Matcha, Ube and black sesame, soft serves. Slightly more icy than creamy in texture, but the flavour is ON POINT! The Matcha has delicious bitter and sweetness and a balance of umami which was such such a treat.

I thought I knew my favorite flavored ice cream, but after eating Maikos Ube soft served ice cream I realized I was wrong and after mixing that with their new blueberry soft served ice cream I came to the grand conclusion that there is no life after death.
The must-go!
One of the best ice creams I have eaten. I would highly recommend taking shaved ice that comes with ice cream or gold-plated ice cream.
The matcha taste is so rich as if you are drinking a matcha latte.
There is not much to rate here or to say more, as it is just a kiosk where you place your order and pick it up in a few minutes.
Just make sure you pass by :)
Being a fan of the matcha soft serve and shaved ice here, I came back today to try out the pure hot matcha tea to see how good their actual matcha is without any add-ons. The tea had a powerful but not overwhelming matcha taste -- definitely exceeded expectations.
