The food was good, but the service was very slow and inattentive (too be nice). We were seated pretty quickly, but not waited on for at least 20 minutes. The couple who arrived 10 minutes after us had their order taken before us. Our food came about 10 minutes apart, so I watched others eat. The price and portion was very good for the area.

Great location and the ramen here is awesome! Big bowl for 8$ only reason for 4 stars is because when we came in it took us 20 minutes to get served even a drink, and a couple who came in ten minutes later got served right away.

Came here twice during my stay in Waikiki. The sashimi is very fresh but most importantly the sushi rice was perfect. Each grain was well coated with the sweet rice vinegar and the chirashi don (Sashimi Bowl B) I ordered had a good balance between the various select sashimi. The ikura was a nice touch to the dish as well and the tamago was perfectly cooked (no browning on the edges at all...a perfect cream yellow throughout the slice). Also great service with a smile. For dinner I tried the assorted sashimi dinner set and enjoyed that as well. For dessert I recommend trying the Matcha Mont Blanc... It's a small dessert that is semi sweet with azuki (red beans) inside. Thank you for making my last meal in Waikiki such a pleasant experience.

Stopped for lunch on a Monday and tried the raw fish bowl. Very nice variety of fish and decent portion of food. Hamachi and the salmon were my favorites. Would definitely come back again!

Good food overall fairly priced... It is BYOB so drop by the ABC store next door before you go to eat.

Family owned authentic Japanese cuisine at down to earth prices. Great staff and cozy spot. The lunch special today was deep fried oysters, scallops, veggies and succulent pork. Ono to the Max! Oh, great BYOB policy!🤤🤤🤤🤤

Classic, simple, authentic, and affordable, home style Japanese cuisine with many options. Seems Japanese operated as well. Very surprised to see such affordable, and authentic Japanese in the area. Small business. A great little find. The closest you'll get to real home style Japanese food without going to Japan.

Great sushi and flavors with very reasonable prices. Service was fast and friendly and extremely helpful with one of my party's dining needs. They are BYOB so you'll need to plan ahead or swing by the ABC Store next door. The sushi rolls were fresh and well made with great flavors and they had ample selection to please most any lover of sushi.

I love this place. Traditional Japanese. smaIt's small, but it looked like if your party was large you could make a reservation. Fairly priced as well , which is rare in that area. I'm vegetarian so cannot comment on fish, but I'm sure it's great judging by how crowded it gets.

I immediately recognize the authenticity of this place. Lovely people all around, who knows very well what they are doing. It is simple, no nonsense style- something you want on the way from the beach(especially for lunch). Oh, and prices- they are actually the same as in Ala Moana Food court, where I tried the ramen once and I don’t think I even could go more than 3 spoons. We had grilled salmon and saba ( mackerel ) plus small seaweed udon- everything was very light, tasty and fresh.
