Bibas - Honolulu - Photo album

First night, friends came in and were able to get a reservation same day about an hour out. Choices were pasta, burgers and French onion soup and pineapple upside down for dessert. Soup was good. Pasta not much flavor. Burgers just ok for saying they are wagyu. Overcooked so a bit on the tough side.
It has been a couple of years since our last visit to Biba’s and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent although that could be due to the less than full restaurant. We both selected the Macadamia nut encrusted red snapper with steamed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. The fish
Had the Black Tiger Shrimp & Maine Lobster Linguini and it was delicious. Sat across Hale Koa's famous Banyan Tree and got to view the beautiful lights around it as the evening processed.
It’s good but basic. I just noticed a bunch of people get burgers in a boujee spot and red flags triggered. Once again, it’s Mahi season so I went with the catch of the day. Sauce was kinda basic with a white wine caper sauce but it just didn’t have much flavor. And the mashed potatoes were so smoo
This was the first restaurant we ate at on our visit to Hawaii. We enjoyed everything well enough, however, I have to say it was overpriced for what we got. I got a shrimp bowl and the quality of the shrimp was amazing with a sweet chili sauce that really added itself well to the bowl. My wife got t
Overall, Bibas I'd say is great. The first two nights we went it was wonderful, super nice people; quick friendly service & lots of laughs. Last night, our server was not very friendly. He barely spoke to us, didn't mean greet us. We didnt even get his name. Other than that wonderful.
We’ve been here eight days and this is our third visit. Dinner was good! Hubby had Ribeye with shrimp. I had the Truffle-Yaki Beef Braised Short Rib. I LOVED the short rib. Being away from home, it was just what I needed, comfort food. We had beer and wine, which were also good. We love the new guy,
Had a good dinner this evening at Bibas. Curtis was our server tonight. I asked about Gluten Free options and he steered me to the Salmon without the sauce. It was very good. No complaints at all. We came as a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed all of their food, from the burger with a Bibas stamp on i
They have the best French Onion Soup! The burger and fries were good, Ceaser salad and Filet Mignon were excellent. Very convenient and good service. There bartenders are so friendly and make delicious drinks too.
Biba’s is an option for not having to leave the premises of The Hale Koa. During the week it’s safe to not make a reservation but the weekend can lead to a longer wait time without one.
If you stay at the Hale Koa or are near it go to Bibas for dinner! The service is impeccable and the food will have you unable to stop yourself as will the drinks!
