Great food, friendly waiters and really worthy.
When I didn't know how to properly eat the appetiser my waiter showed me how it's done and they even took the remaining food and packed it perfectly for us.
There are many Vegetarian options. Their fried appetizer rolls are a must try.
The place has a paid parking lot just behind it, which makes it so convenient.

Would Def recommend. A bit more expensive than most viet places i frequent. Enjoyed everything though, vermicelli was so delicious.

Located on 12th Avenue, near to Via Gelato. Award winning Vietnamese cuisine (2021 and 2020 Star Advertiser Best Vietnamese in Honolulu). Outstanding pho soups dishes, with a great selection of proteins (thinly slices of beef, chicken, tripe) clean, tasty broth.
Bun dishes- vermicelli rice noodles with selection of proteins(i highly recommend the barbecue pork and imperial rolls).
Full bar: mixed drinks, wine list and beers.

Husband and I stopped here after hiking and building up an appetite. We ordered the summer rolls/goi cuon, the papaya salad, and each had a bowl of bun with grilled pork/thit nuong and imperial rolls as well as lemongrass chicken. Everything was tasty and fresh! Enjoyed our meal and the Vietnamese iced coffee.

Worth a trip just for the spring rolls. And on the rare, overcast/rainy evening we visited the pho was generous, especially with the meat, and hit the mouth perfectly. The chicken and vegetable entree was good but overpriced for what we got. So we’ll skip that next time. But ending the meal with the Vietnamese coffee sealed the deal — this place is low-key but legit. If you want to be seen and have something trendy for your Instagram, go to Pig & the Lady, if you desire something a bit more local, this is your spot.

This restaurant has been very consistent in always making good Vietnamese food over years.
This is my to go place when there’s a visitor in town. Pho and fried spring rolls are must try!

Really good goi cuon (summer rolls). Large and fresh! The papaya salad was also delicious. And, the thit nuong plate was substantial. Also had 2 large phos (rare steak: tai and meatballs: bo vien)

We have been going to hale Vietnam for at least 3 decades. When we order pho, we get number 12 with brisket. The last two times there was very little editable meat, and instead I picked out a plateful of gristle, as did my husband.the taste of the pho was not good either.they have really gone downhill in quality over the years. you cannot digest gristle! We won't ever be going back there.of course we paid fort meat in the soup, and got gristle I nstead

I love the food! Service is great. Stuffed Chicken wings is a favorite with the Pho!

Many meals there. Enjoyed the food and environment, then a bug cooked into my dish starred at me.

A fresh and favorable experience of Veitnam in a restaurant in Kaimuki, leaving you feeling as if you were in a home. The soothing music, great service, and cleanliness are all compliments to the wonderful aroma and flavorful cuisine, that you would only get at home. The the summer tolls, spring rolls, and stuffed chicken wings appetizers all deliciously served before the wonderfully aromatic basil and spice of Pho' fills the air and the pallet to enhancing your experience. Finally the caramel flan is a great dessert to leave you content until your next visit home..
Ah
Love it. This has to be one of the best Vietnamese places that I have been to. The pho, bun, and appetizers just so tasty. At times, especially on the weekend, they can get packed. But most of the time, we have been able to get a table within less than 30 minutes. We also love to order pickup from Hale VIetnam. So easy and reasonably priced.

We have taken guests there and everyone seemed to love the visit to Hale Vietnam..keep up the good work.

Hands down the most consistently good pho I've ever found.

Yummy Pho in Kaimuki. The title says it all...one of the best places for Pho, outside of China Town! A visit to Honolulu is not complete, without a stop for lunch at Hale Vietnam.

Okay. If you're in the neighborhood and dying for some pho, stop by. It's pretty good. Not the best in town, but okay.
