Review Koko At Kalia - Honolulu

For military-affiliation only! You must show military ID to get in. This place is beautiful and has a patio overlooking the beach. The food is phenomenal for a buffet, they have eggs Benny, an omelet station, plenty of fruits and juices, as well as service for fresh coffees. Super convenient for guests of the Hale Koa.

Never disappoints, been coming for years and breakfast is always delicious and fresh, i only wish they would reinstate the A La Carte Menu option that was available during COVID-19, in addition to the buffet. We enjoyed ordering a simple breakfast every morning but the Buffett is still very good. Expect to pay an average of $25-26 per adult for breakfast depending on age, military rank.

Had brunch with hubby and a couple friends here. The service was great. We had a really nice view of the beach. The food was great. There were a lot of selection.

This is within the military resort on Waikiki in Honolulu Hawaii. Reservations are recommended for brunch, we did not have one but since we went early the two of us were seated right away. There is an omelette station, a waffle station and lots of pastries, fruits and breakfast meats to choose from. The waiter to get a coffee right away or choose from a variety of juices such as orange, pineapple or passionfruit; mimosas too.

I love this place and I miss dining in already since they stopped serving buffet during the Covid 19 pandemic. I love their dinner buffet specially their seafood fest I think every Thursday particularly their crab legs. Not only for their variety of delicious dishes and succulent desserts, but also their very reasonable prices . Their buffet is unbeatable. I look forward to see Koko at Kalia at Hale Koa to open up again and experience their buffet dining once more.

The buffet was excellent. The food was amazing 🤩. The price was very reasonable compared to the other hotels that offered a breakfast buffet. I will definitely go back. Plus, I like that it’s only for active and retired military and their families.

Great breakfast buffet. Omelets are cooked to perfection. Great selection, not super high end but very nice and reasonably priced for Hawaii. Service was great. Kudo’s to our waiter Rozs.

Staff is always very friendly and outgoing. That goes for the entire hotel staff as well. Suggest you make a reservation for immediate seating, however, it seemed less than a 20 min wait for walk-ins. Food is good, omelet station, lots of staple breakfast food as well as a great selection of fresh fruit. They offer some good morning cocktails. Great view indoors and out doors of the ocean. We had breakfast here 4 out of 6 days of our stay.

A nice quiet restaurant, relaxing and a getaway from the hustle of Waikiki. Reservations are recommended -- right now it is limited to militarily or hotel guests. We went for breakfast, the bloody Mary was great, and the food was even better! BEAUTIFUL view of Waikiki beach as well!

Breakfast here is always awesome! We love it and when we stay at other hotels we walk to make it over here. Tevita is our favorite server. So friendly and attentive!🤙🏻 Their prices also vary on ranks. I think enlisted get discounts.

Overall experience was fairly good. The servers were nice and timely. The “best” Mai Thai in Waikiki is simply not true, skip on this. The steak was over cooked to order, again probably skip on this. Plates are a bit overpriced compared to other eateries in Waikiki.

Awesome breakfast! Price is Right ($16.95 for most, $13.95 for E1-E5 and seniors). We stayed in the Ilikai hotel but came here a few times for breakfast...all you can eat buffet and it's all freah....can't beat it. Staff is friendly.

The staff is terrific, from restaurant, housekeeping, front desk & pool staff. There were 8 of us in our group, Geri in Bibas and Tevita in the breakfast restaurant handled our reservations, requests and food add-ons with a smile and made it all happen. Thank you Hale Koa!

Ate great breakfasts here daily using the breakfast package, and it was worth it. Great place to start the day. Seafood dinner was also great. Staff is attentive and friendly. Prices are reasonable.

$28 an adult, come hungry pleanty of options and they kept it well stocked and fresh. We went for breakfast on Father's Day, so we had a short wait, but it was worth it.

Inside the Hale Koa. You have to be military or a guest at the hotel to dine. Last year has to make a reservation, this year they no longer do that. Monday visit and was able to get a seat right away. Plenty of selections for food. Typical fruit offerings, waffle bar, omelet bar. Food area is a bit on the small side and can become a bit crowded at times and you'll always have the looky lews that take forever or have no manners and cut you off in line like the food is going somewhere Staff is great and very attentive. Runs about $27 per person. Recommend

Nice buffet bunch for mother's day and families visiting. The buffet and customer service was excellent. This was my second trip to the Koko at kalia buffet and it's pretty good regardless of the day you visit.
