Review Momosan Waikiki - Honolulu

Excellent restaurant! The service is very good and staff attentive. The ramen is top notch and filling. My favorite is the tan tan ramen. We also tried the twice cooked ribs which are a MUST TRY. The poke bowls are nicely seasoned and not dry. The sushi is also very good. Overall wonderful experience, not expensive, and we ate there twice!

Mosoman ramen was so delicious. My Hubby doesn't really like noodles, but he almost ate the whole bowl even after appetizers. He said we'll go back especially for the rib appetizers.

It's a really good spot to eat in Waikiki. Enjoyed the outdoor seating, the service was friendly and the food and drinks were good. I especially loved the Yellowtail Poke Bowl. So delicious, and the Tokyo Blue cocktail is definitely worth trying too!

The tonkotsu ramen broth was perfectly balanced. The egg was cooked perfectly. I thought the charsiu was a little thin at first glance. The texture was amazing along with the taste. One of the best ramen bowls I've had. The portion was good and I could have had another bowl. The ribs were like candy and fell off the bone. Worth a visit just for them. Great service and an extensive sake menu if your interested.

Ramen is just okay. The rib is so great! A little bit over pricing. Happy hour draft beer is $4. Soft shell bao is not good. Our lunch cost $200+

We are absolute ramen fanatics from NY and this was 10 stars. I can’t say enough about how good the food was. The deep flavor, ramen cooked to perfection, complex flavors of the fried chicken. **chefs kiss** Everyone loved their dishes. We will definitely be returning before we go back home.

Delicious ramens! Very attentive service, great terrace. We went 3 evenings (our stay was 8 days). You’ll love it!

Outside seating is spacious and welcoming. We were seated right away, we arrived around 7pm in the evening. I got the tonkotsu ramen and shirley temple. My sibling got a tsukemen and a Tokyo blue. Portions are good and filling. Reasonable prices and great customer service. Service was also very fast. It was about a 10 minute wait for our meals. Would definitely come again!

We had a wonderful experience here! The food was delicious, and the drinks were descent enough! We ordered the popular sticky ribs appetizer- highly recommend! We then ordered the spicy tan-tan and their dipping noodles. The spicy tan-tan broth was thick and flavorful. Honestly, though, I didn’t find it to be very spicy. No problem - they gave us chili oil upon request! We would definitely recommend this place!

Overall it was a pleasant dining experience. In terms of food, my favorite was the ribs since it was very tender, crispy and came with good chunks of meat. We also ordered tonkotsu ramen which was a bit saltier than average, as well as salmon poke bowl which was also very salty due to the sauce (if you are on a low sodium diet you could ask them to put sauce on the side). Yet I liked how they put nice portion of fish and avocado. In terms of service, our host was kind and the waitress was attentive. In terms of value, I think it's on a pricier side but due to location and ambience it's understandable. Overall I think I can recommend this restaurant, but just know that you won't be impressed by their food.

We had a fantastic lunch at Momosan Waikiki today. The service was attentive, friendly and really informative. The Tonkotsu had a wonderful depth of flavor with perfectly cooked noodles and a fantastic aroma. We ordered the set, which included a ramen and a side for $24. Myself and my wife chose the sticky ribs and the Kakuni Bao which was an exciting mix of braised pork belly, lettuce and a Dijon mustard dressing wrapped in a tender bun. We also ordered the Karaage, fried boneless chicken in a garlic soy seasoning. All over our experience was brilliant, in a lovely outdoor patio experience on Waikiki beach's doorstep. Wonderful place to come and eat some wholesome food with great company and enjoy a frozen Kirin Ichiban!

Nice dining experience with outdoor seating surrounded by lush planters and large umbrellas. A nice place to stay out of the tropical sun of Waikiki. Having a cold beer helps also - they have a frozen beer version of the Japanese beer which is the normal beer with frozen foamy top. It's nice but I'm good with the normal cold Kirin beer. It's a ramen shop by the Japanese Iron Chef Morimoto, and it's chain that has branches in a few cities including Seattle. Both the ramen and fish, avocado donburi were nice and the portion is not huge so great for afternoon snack but not if you're really hungry for dinner.

A fantastic place to grab ramen!! I was worried that it may be a bit touristy since it was right next to our hotel and by the beach but it was great! We also were worried because we had dined at the sister restaurant “Morimoto” which is right up stairs and it was not very impressive. Our server was nice and we had a good conversation!! :)

Fabulous experience with amazing good. Nolan, our server, provided an excellent experience with detailing the menu for us. He offered a wonderful selection for dinner. We ordered the all star Ramen, salmon Poke, Kukani Boa and sticky ribs. Would definitely return again!

Great food at a great price. The quality was much better than I expected for the price spend about 45 bucks for it all. Softshell was just as good as the pork bell.

Went here for lunch, as it was one of the restaurants at our resort and one of Iron chef’s Morimoto’s restaurants. Theres indoor and outdoor seating mostly outdoor. You can go through the resort if you are staying there to get there and there is also an entrance facing the street to get in as well. They have a variety of asian dishes to choose from. Tried some gyoza and ahi tuna tacos for starters. The gyoza came out on a sizzling hot place which was cool tasted pretty good just a bit oily. The ahi tuna tacos were good just seems like a lot price wise for two tacos it was 16$. Then for entrees tried the yellowtail poke bowl pretty good size, tasted fresh, overall pretty good. Also had the tonkotsu ramen it was also a good size, the broth was tasty. The spicy dan dan was good chili oil based it was actually pretty spicy but the miso pork in it was so good. To drink tried the sake sangria, it was really refreshing very good and very dangerous because you could just drink those all day. Overall service was good and the food was good. Definitely a nice little spot to grab a bite.
