I got some pancakes for takeaway and they tasted like your standard fast food pancakes. I loved it because they gave us a whole box of whipped cream, and two sashays of maple syrup. The food came very fast and for a very cheap price. I would put 5 stars but the pancakes did taste a bit cheap, and the second pancake i received was burnt all in the middle. I would recommend if you want a quick breakfast, though!

I got the Mac n brisket skillet that was good for a Denny's kind of meal. Somewhat pricey for the portion size, but it is Hawaii. The service was great, Tina was very pleasant, very attentive and you can tell she likes her work which is hard to find in our current economy.

Wonderful breakfasts! The fruit was always ripe and sweet! I came here about 4 times with my husband. We enjoyed our waitresses were fun, attentive and made sure we stayed hydrated. I would recommend the Mile High Denver omelette or the Loaded Veggie Omelette! I noticed the environment was welcoming as soon as we entered, music was at a level I could still hear my husband, and the manager was helpful with questions about local events or stores.

I generally have had horrible service at any Denny's and refuse to go to any of them. Somehow my husband managed to get me in, ( maybe because I was actually not that hungry). This Denny's was run super efficiently unlike the others. Our waitress was very nice, pleasant,and attentive. If ever back in Hawaii again, I will be back.

I brought take-out and if a little more attentive when into packing it, I would be giving it 5 stars. Yes it was quite busy and the food was cooked very nicely. Yet I think you would have to check it out yourself.

We had Tina as our waitress. She made our morning so wonderful. She was pleasant, funny and made you feel welcome! We always look to see she is working and it puts a Big smile on our faces. The food is always good and well presented. Thank you for a good start to our day.

First time I've ever been at this location. Every time I was in Waikiki I'll always see a line and lots of people waiting so it discourage from visiting. This was pretty quick. Only waited for 15 minutes. I used to visit the the one at the Miaramar Hotel (Closed. New hotel with a different restaurant). But mostly the Pealridge location since I had visit Pearlridge Mall (also closed). Everyone was very professional, courteous and somewhat friendly. Depending who the server is. Manager can be hustling, greeting customers and refilling customers coffee. Food was good as expected from the chain. Nice portion and not greasy mess (Pearlridge location was a greasy mess). I always enjoyed their new many items. Will be back for more. Not to mention the prices which are pretty reasonable. Around $9.99-$18.99 ($$). I really missed Denny's since the other two locations closed. I will defenitely be back for more breakfast. Or maybe some lunch/dinner!!!!! �

I had a T-Bone steak that was to die for. It just melted in the mouth. The only reason I didn't give it 5* was because of the terrible service. We were served by a guy who was 90 if he was a day, he'd obviously worn out any charisma he might of had years ago, and certainly was suffering from total sense-of -humour failure. We did leave a tip only because 'you do' not because it was deserved. Shame.

I’m from Australia. Visited Honolulu last year. Ate at Denny’s for breaky. You guys have the best Mango smoothie and milkshakes. Big shout out to Tina, who makes the best milkshakes and Smoothies. Love your food. Please bring a Denny’s to Australia.

On our recent trip to the USA we ate a number of times at the various Denny's and although there was sometimes a long line we stayed because we quickly learned that the food was good and the staff friendly. The large selection of food suited our group of six and we all found something we enjoyed. In Australia we rarely have to wait in line at a restaurant but then we do book in advance when we can, the Americans seem to think this is normal.

Best place for the money in Waikiki. Wife loved her mahi mahi, and my hot and spicy skillet dinner was just that, stove hot and nice and spicy. We'll be back again.

The service was great, the food was great and the only weird thing was the painting going on outside the windows where we were sitting. Our waitress offered to move us, cause she thought it was a little creepy having the guys out there, but it didn't bother us. We went early in the morning and it was not busy at all.

My and my wife arrived last night from UK and were starving so went to Denny's at 430am. The staff cooked us up the tastiest food. Juicy steak n eggs, amazing hot delicious nachos and awesome waffles. Fantastic service, awesome piping hot tasty food from hard working night shift staff. Thanks for such a fabulous 1st day experience in Honolulu. Big big thumbs up to the night shift from Dave and Sukki ��

Would go back again, but our waitress did not get our bread to us until after we had eaten. Probably the fault of the kitchen. Our good was hot except for our broccoli which was cold. Prices were very reasonable (except for drinks, which we thought were over priced) for Waikiki area.

All the food was really nice...no complaints about the food!! We went here a couple of time,first time we was served by ABIGAIL very friendly waitress she was soo sweety,second time everything was fine,food service and that it!!third time we was served by KRISTIN very rude and unpolite waitress,maybe she is stressed about that job,not smile at all sad face....but anyway!!only cos my wife say to her to wait for order cos me I was on the loo,she start to do weird face and also she say something at lower voice tone!I do not think it's up to working side the people,someone need to do a course for good customer service for that rude waitress...i give u only one star about the really bad experience with that girl!!��CYA

Some nights eating here is great. Not tonight. Staff are all over the place - customers are seating themselves because no-one appears to be manning the front desk. Slightly chaotic tonight. The food, however, is great.
