We got there early to have a drink at the bar, very chilled and relaxing area to start off with. The cocktails are amazing and good selection of beer on tap
Our waiter was great very friendly and expanded the menu with such passion, I would of ordered ice cubes if he was reading them from the menu.
The food was on point, quick to come out, fresh and quality is guaranteed. 6/5 stars

We were group of 6 and ordered premium omakase. Some of us could not eat raw food due to health conditions so we asked them to surprise us on some of the courses. In general, the ingredients were top quality and their services were excellent. However, this would not be the place if you really want the authentic Japanese omakase style. We definitely enjoyed the great ambience and the desserts were really great as well.

This is my second time at Nobu's. Never disappoints !!!
I ordered:
* Baked King crab with truffle
- comes with slightly but perfectly seasoned raddish.... sweet citrus... great compliment.
- However it's a LOT!! Recommended to share with at least one other person.
- Also option to get it with snow crab for half the price. :)
He ordered:
* Prime ribeye steak with 3 sauces (raddish sauce, shoyu ponzu sauce, fish flakes) + caramelized onions .
- Lots of veggies (cabbage, pumpkin, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, bell pepper, cauliflower, broccoli, potato)
We shared:
* Waygyu manapua
- Rich and decadent. Creamy center. Slightly spicy-- watch for the bite!!
* Butter mochi dessert with icecream
- You will not regret this warm, sweet, cold, mix of DELICIOUSNESS!!!
Service:
- Our server was TJ and he was so awesome!!
We were unable to RSVP since they were full. Luckily, we were able to walk in and score seats at the sushi counter. Even more lucky that we got TJ as our waiter.
TJ helped us from start to end! He did a great job in reassuring my boyfriend (who is allergic to seafood) and providing excellent MEATY recommendations. :) TJ really went out of his way to provide above and beyond customer service to us.
Good food, great service, and even better company. :)

Passed a very pleasant evening on Nobu’s lanai. Starting with their happy hour is a must. Great way to sample menu and save some $. All dishes were fresh and memorable. Drinks were good but not great. Service was attentive. And atmosphere is trendy/upscale.

Nobu Honolulu is my favourite Nobu. The food here is phenomenal, the drinks are fantastic, the atmosphere is cool, and the service is excellent. I've been to this restaurant many times, including when it was still Nobu Waikiki, and it never fails to please. The menu is innovative and the flavours are well thought out. Highly recommended!

Simply amazing atmosphere and service. We did the Signature tasting and you can never go wrong with the chef’s specials. We had Derek as our server and he was beyond fantastic.

Tried signature tasting menu. Everything was tasty and we were pretty full even before beef arrived. Service is quick, sometimes though waitress would start burning new dish and only then notices that plates from previous turn were not brought away. Ousters were better than in France!

An amazing experience here at Nobu. Always a pleasure to visit a Nobu, and the one here in Honolulu is amazing. The staff are all great and the food is phenomenal. I highly recommend checking this place out for amazing Japanese food. The food is all fresh and prepared beautifully. Our personal favourites were the sashimi and the black miso cod but everything we had was just amazing. Definitely will be back again in the future.

We were very disappointed that Nobu moved from its Waikiki location but still had to make a visit during our holiday and so glad we did. The new location is really gorgeous. Dramatic and beautiful.
We ordered the omakase and were not disappointed. Every dish was delicious and tasty. The white peach sangria is not on the menu anymore but they will still make it for you. It is still my favorite drink. So yummy.
The meal was delicious and I was in love with Nobu all over again. We make it a point to visit here as a treat every trip to Hawaii.

Never disappointed when I go here, except when I look at the bill haha. BUT this was my first time going here for happy hour and it's actually a really good deal. Food was really good, so we're the drinks.

I have been to Nobu’s all over the world - and was looking forward, as usual, to a great experience!
Sadly not - this is the worst Nobu I have been to.
Sadly our “server” Edwin was more keen to look after another table - thus we got offhand and very slow service. The menu was limited at best - however Edwin wasn’t really that keen to help us go over an unusual Nobu menu and kept looking at the “other table” - we felt like 2nd class citizens!
We are here for another week and Japanese food is our favourite- but we will not be going back to this Nobu and suggest someone has a word with Edwin about his attitude.
You could tell he wasn’t listening as the first Sushi arrived before the bottle of wine !

Fabulous service! We had the Chefs tasting ... Tour of Honolulu... it was amazing. The best sashimi I have ever eaten and first time for wygu beef! Again amazing melt in your mouth with every bite! Will be back!

My husband decided to surprise me flying over to Oahu from Kauai, while we were both away from home (big island) for work, with dinner at Nobu. I would have to say one of the best dinner experiences we have had in a long time. The quality of the fish and the explosion of flavor with each dish we tried was phenomenal! Thank you Nobu Honolulu! We will definitely return soon!

When we walked in the door, the first thing the greeter said was, 'reservations only tonight sir.' Of course we had reservations but it's the sharpness of that greeting that gets you going down the wrong road. Maybe I had a 'hope they have a table' look on my face. Okay...reset.
There were at least 4 sushi chefs and the one closest to us was doing nothing but we could only order from the guy that was slammed. The food was okay but not worth the expensive pricetag. We eat Kitayama in Newport Beach 1x week so maybe we are jaded.
If it wasn't for the awesome company this would have been a flop.
I recommend going to Dukes (on the sand) or Top of Waikiki for as good a vibe and 1/3~1/2 the price.

Treated some friends to dinner last night. Service was very good and food nothing short of amazing! As with any place some dishes were better that others. I highly recommend the jalapeño yellowtail, Opah Foie Gras and Lobster ceviche.

Had a great time at dinner. Their staff was attentive, knowledgeable, well trained, and unlike the Waikiki location didn’t do a lot of upselling or try to run up the tab. Food was excellent as well.

Great food, good service however Nobu markets itself as fine dining and the prices reflect that. The ambiance does not. We were seated in what can only be described as the overflow room complete with tables full of crying bored babies and toddlers. We left early as the noise was unbearable. Would not visit again.

Definitely not worth the money. Sasabune and Akasaka has better sushi with a cheaper price tag. I feel like I was paying for all those employees to stand around. My chair was too low and our table wouldn't stop wobbling. Also, there should be some kind of dress code for the hostesses. One young lady was wearing this black top that showed so much cleavage, I thought her breasts were going to fall out. Yikes! For a moment I thought I was walking into a strip club.

Nobu never disappoints. Food, service and ambience were top notch. And the new location is beautiful - swanky without being pretentious. Loved everything we had - cocktails were perfectly executed, beef tobanayaki was like buttah, warm mushroom salad, rock shrimp tempura, and crispy rice with spicy ahi were all cooked to perfection, and hamachi jalapeno and oysters were fresh and tasty. Would love to go to Nobu every week!
