The best Thai food I've had on this island so far. The green curry is among the most popular. Yellow curry a bit salty but still very good. The tom kha is perfectly seasoned and the seafood portion is very generous. I love their food very much!!!
Very good! Try the calamari…different than the usual, but really crunchy and good!! Pad See Ew with beef was fantastic…went to the Korean ‘family’ restaurant a block away and we were turned down saying they were too full even though no one was waiting. Like zero. Very glad we came here instead…total karma thanks to the idiots a block away.
Very good place to try, friendly service and Fast. Good portions, and delicious food. Medium spicy is very spicy, So beware if you are not used to spicy food.
I removed one star because of the bill. Written in hand on a piece of paper and totalis calculated manually, did not like that part!
This Thai restaurant was absolutely incredible! The service was super friendly and made me feel so welcome. And let me tell you, the fried rice was out of this world! It was seriously the best I've ever had in my entire life. The flavors were so rich and the rice was perfectly cooked. And don't even get me started on the hot and sour soup. It had just the right amount of heat and tanginess. It was like a flavor explosion in my mouth! I can't recommend this place enough. You've got to try it
THE BEST THAI FOOD IN MY LIFE
Our first stop after arriving in Honolulu was to grab a bite to eat and we were recommended to try out Siam Square. A warm and welcome environment with a friendly staff who wants to make sure we are enjoying our experience. The food was tantalizing and a welcome change of pace from our usual food choices. Definitely a location we will keep in mind with our next visit.
Best thai food I've ever had in my life (haven't visited Thailand yet), I would assume this is as close as you can get outside of Thailand.
If I ever visit Hawaii again, this place is a must visit. I visited 3 times in the short time I was there. I fell in love with their pad thai and their tom kha soup.
The service is very quick and their servers are very friendly and helpful. It's also located in a very convenient place very close to the main tourist street in A la Moana.
Great value Thai food. Excellent service, place was busy for a Monday night. Love the atmosphere. We loved the fact that they put on the menu that many traditional Thai dishes are spicy hot and if you want otherwise you must say something. I will say one critique is the wine list. I work in the wine business and you can put together a great affordable list with wines that pair well with Thai food. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Ordered papaya salad, pad thai, shrimp rolls, calamari, and tom kha soup (forgot to take picture). Food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly. The location was very close to our hotel so we were able to walk there in 5 minutes.
OMFG! The food here is unbelievable at this hidden gem. The best Thai food I've had in a long time! Beats almost all places on the mainland. So fresh and spicy. Get the Mussaman curry and Pad Kee Mao!
Great food, service and value. My colleagues and I ate here twice on my last trip to Honolulu. We will definitely be back. The staff is very friendly, and they sat us quickly. We ordered the Tom Kha soup, it is delicious. We also ordered chicken pad Thai, sweet and sour beef and cashew beef. Everything is flavorful. Highly recommend for an affordable dinner!
Beautiful little restaurant tucked away above an ABC. Very smiley happy staff who were quick to serve amazing tasting food! Don’t be put off by the simple looking exterior, this restaurant was amazing! Cheap too compared to other places around Waikiki. Highly recommend
Good Thai food. I usually try something different every time I go here. I've never had anything bad, and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that they try to fit as many tables as possible in the building. Constantly getting bumped by other guests as they get seated or get up from the table. Definitely tight quarters, so if you are a person who doesn't like feeling cramped, you might feel uncomfortable dining in, but don't let that stop you from trying the delicious food. They offer takeout, and they are really nice. I understand trying to maximize revenue and available dining space, so I'm not upset, I just thought I'd warn anyone who might not find those accommodations comfortable during dining out.
Very friendly professional waiting staff. Really flavoursome food. Vegetables crunchy and fresh. Spice level was good. Portion size- share a starter, mains ok to order one each. Good pricing. Would recommend.
Very cute place to sit and eat although we took our food to go. Super tasty, large portions, and very affordable. Hard to find stuffed chicken wings anywhere - made my day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Definitely some of the best Thai food we’ve had and the staff was an absolute treat. “O” was a great hostess.
Seriously some of the best Thai food that I’ve ever had. And that includes at numerous mom & pops in NYC.
Siam Square’s roasted eggplant with shrimps & ground pork salad ; the tamarind soup rich with fish sauce flavour, fish filet & bitter melon ; the earthy fresh mint taste highlighting the chicken laab (larb), the zesty shredded cucumber salad… and the mango sticky rice was good.
Everything, on each visit, we’ve loved it all. Attentive & responsive service that is professional & reserved.
Corkage fee of $15 / bottle (wine). Would definitely recommend bringing your own wine, as the bottles / glasses available at the restaurant are of entry-level commercial quality. Beers, mostly large Thai brands, are standard & fine.
I want to eat everything on the menu.
And, with quietly playing Thai music videos on the TVs, what’s not to like ?
9/25/2022: located in Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, Hawaii on the 2nd floor above an ABC store. The dining room is brightly lit and decorated. The appetizer summer rolls were light and wrapped in thin cellophane squares, rate it 10/10 (peanut sauce comes with). Relative to previous shrimp pad thai meals I have had, I rate this one a 9/10; and the pineapple fried rice with 7/10. The total came to about $45.
Gluten free & nut free safe dinner. We notified them of our allergies and they were able to cater without any issues.
Pad sew ew noodles were soft and slightly chewy, just the way they should be
I love Thai food and was really excited to enjoy the options offered at this small upstairs eatery outside the clatter of Waikiki’s robust restaurant options. We didn’t know this place existed until it was spotted on a walk around town. It is a small restaurant, however, what it lacks in space, it makes up in light, decor, ambiance and cuisine. It also isn’t a hinderance that it small, as it makes the whole experience much more inviting and cosy.
The server was a very sweet and soft spoken Thai woman that made our dining experience all the more pleasant. Her service was coordinated and not pushy. We felt genuinely relaxed and welcomed. When you’re shoved in and out of Waikiki restaurants, this is a nice reminder of how eating out should be experienced.
I ordered what you see in the picture below in medium heat. I ensured with our lovely waitress that the medium was tolerable and not extreme heat as the menu itself warns that they will not refund you if you order food with a high level of spiciness. The server reassured me that medium would be sufficient and I could eat the food without a water hose at standby.
True to her word, the food was perfectly spiced and the wide egg noodle dish was decadent. Curated with Thai seasonings and heat, it exceeded my expectations and I’m always thinking of when I can return before we head home. Coincidentally, I had ordered a Thai Milk tea which never arrived. In the tropical humidity, I was craving one to enjoy before my meal came, but nothing arrived. I inquired with our server and she mentioned that she didn’t want to interrupt the flavor of my meal with that of the tea and held back from bringing it to me. She wanted me to try the food first before impairing it with the tea. I really appreciated her foresight and ensuring my culinary journey would be exceptional.
All in all, I adore this small restaurant and encourage you to try it when in town. A refreshing dining experience in the combative restaurant scene of Waikiki.
