Review Aloha Kitchen - Honolulu

This is a gem 💎 I ventured off the resort & walked here & it was soo worth it. They have a walk-up situation where u sign in at a table & wait outside. The line moves pretty fast though. Service inside was excellent. The staff was fast & all worked together well. The fruit soufflĂ© pancakes I got were so amazing. They’re huge & different than any I’ve ever had before. The fruit was so fresh & it was almost too pretty to eat. The guava mimosa I had also tasted super fresh. I’m only here for a week, but it was so good I might go back again.

Aloha Kitchen is absolutely worth the wait! We arrived at 11 am on a Tuesday and waited about 30 minutes for a table. Service was quick and the food came out shortly after we ordered. We had the pork Benedict. It was a great choice, my only regret is not ordering their famous pancakes. The pancakes coming out of the kitchen looked AMAZING. The only thing not too exciting was the coffee, it’s $5 for hot or $6 for iced. I would probably skip the coffee on my next visit. If you’re going with another person or a group, I suggest ordering a variety and sharing so you can try the savory and sweet menu items! Overall, it’s a really fun and laid back vibe!

So good! Souffle pancakes are a must. Big portion, and so soft! The coco macnut pancake had more cream and was tastier than the fruits one. We also ordered the Hawaiian and Kalua Pork burgers which were both delicious. Fruit juices were also great and very fresh - POG was the best one! We got there at 12:30pm on a Saturday and there was no wait at all. That being said, service was polite and friendly but a little rushed but we found it understandable since we showed up close to closing time they probably wanted to go home for the day. Parking is available in a garage next door called Canterbury Place Parking. Overall the food is worth it!

Slept in late and googled places still serving breakfast and Aloha Kitchen popped up and I am glad it did. Jiggly pancakes were just like Japan and the Kahlua pork benedict was the BEST benedict I have ever had in my life!!!! DELICIOUS, Will go to again before heading back to Japan!!!!! And the crispy potatoes were best hashbrowns I have had for breakfast on years!!!

First of all service was great!!! The loco moco was a perfect meal, the portugués sausage was delicious. The fluffy pancake was not what i expected it is literally a batter of eggs to fluff up and tastes like eggs with berries, so sad. Just warning yall! Other than that great experience!!!

Fantastic breakfast! I won't need to eat for days probably! I noticed this place on my daily walk to the conference center because there is always a large crowd waiting outside. When you go, go early and don't forget to sign yourself in when you get there. We had the fruit and the banana strawberry souffle pancakes and they were delicious and huge. I also recommend the POG juice and the coffee, which was not as strong as in most other places here, but that me be just my experience. It's also very cozy and prices are fair.

One of the better and very popular breakfast places known for their souffle pancakes. Super well done and delicious. The whipped cream on top is house made. The potatoes were perfectly crispy and yummy. Con is that the Benedict muffins were a bit tough and the coffee options could be more fun. I recommend going early to beat the crowd.

The food and the service was excellent. I recommend the souffle pancakes, definitely a must order. Go early there is always a line. We went 20 min before they opened and there were still 4 parties ahead of us.

Be prepared for the long wait, or come in early. I waited about 50 minutes. I wanted to try this place and its famous souffle pancakes. I must say, I was not too impressed. Service was quick and friendly. I would return when I visit Hawaii and try their different dishes. It looked good. Mahalo

Good place to have breakfast. Only lacking 1 star due to long waiting periods. I went there twice and both times there was a long line. Waiting period is about 30 mins but it’s worth it. Generous portions and quick service once you’re inside. Tried the famous Loco Moco and the fruit soufflĂ©, both delicious. Well done team. Ps. No wifi, guess it’s a marketing strategie so customers don’t stay longer haha.

Amazing food! Loco Moco was wonderful, Kalua Pork Burger was tasty and definitely recommend the Garlic Butter Ahi. Well worth the visit.

The food was FANTASTIC! Definitely worth the wait in line. A very popular breakfasts spot - get there early and put your name on the list as soon as you can! You must try the soufflé pancakes too!!

Delicious coffee, amazing breakfast, it almost feels as you're home eating with family and friends !! It is a small place and you might have to wait few minutes to be seated but worth every bite !! Every dish in the menu is worthy trying 😋

Get here early! Small establishment with limited seating. Waited a little more than 45 minutes for a table. Pancakes were ok, a little too doughy for my liking. Everything else was good.

Wife got a soufflé pancake with fruits. I got a loco moco. She made the correct call: the soufflé was tasty, and I'll definitely try one next time! The loco moco was meh: the patty was overcooked, and the gravy seemed like it was just a packet mix. There's always a long line, but it moves quickly.

Busy breakfast spot in Waikiki, I call to see if there was a long waiting list and the answer was no. When we got there 15 minutes later the line was long. I used my time perusing the menu so that we would be ready to order. Big mistake, once you are in the restaurant you see these beautiful dishes being brought out to the tables. The Japanese souffle pancakes looked delicious. I ordered the Hawaiian classic omelette and the Acai bowl. Our food did get to our table pretty quick and it was good. We're coming back again. Be sure to bring Cash as it was Cash only today.

The staff was really nice. The food came quickly, we tried the banana souffle pancakes, the strawberry waffle, the Sammy breakfast sandwich, and the rice plate. Everything was really good

Great breakfast food!!! Portuguese sausage was yummy! Wish I had more with my Ono eggs order. French toast was also awesome! Had to try the fruit pancake soufflé and it was oh so fluffy!! You may have to wait for a table, but it is worth it! A hidden gem off Ala Moana.

Love Aloha kitchens , best lobster eggs Benedict ever. Came two years ago and have been dreaming about coming back for sometime. It was one of our first stops on returning. I recommend Aloha kitchens to everyone that comes to Hawaii. Will be back soon.â™„ïžđŸ’œ

Great soufflé pancake. Must try when you are in Waikiki. Reasonable price and good portion. The pancake just very nice. Good food for breakfast and lunch.

The lobster risotto was to die for!! The broth was rich and the cheese added was just perfect which did not overpower the lobster, and the huge chunks of lobster meat just made the whole dish perfect!!

We had an excellent experience. We had the banana soufflé, the sammy breakfast sandwich, waffle, and more... it was all delious. We had great food and service. We would have wanted to have found it earlier but just did not. Glad we did decide to try it. Best kept secret!

The Breakfast Club hit up Aloha Kitchen last week. The food was Ono, our waiter was delightful, but the cashier had small kine attitude and did not look happy that day. It was busy, yes, but I wish she had seen the blessing in how busy it was rather than being upset about having to serve so many customers. Be careful... when paying for your bill, an 18% gratuity is added automatically (without notice) to your bill for parties 5 & over - check your bill!!! Also, my friend and I both ordered take out meals and the 18% gratuity was added on there too!! We questioned the cashier and she said that it was because our party was over 5 peeps. But I pointed out that it was a to go meal and it should’ve been considered a single order, as well as my friends. After looking at our bills and making sure the table bill had the 18% charge, she finally decided to make the correction. We really enjoyed the food, but don’t know if we will return again anytime soon. ïżœ

The pancake souffle was delicious! I'm definitely going to go there again and try other things.

They only recently started serving dinner. I was an "early adopter," having dined there on the third night after debuting the menu. The food was less than stellar; HOWEVER, the services was absolutely perfect! They paid for my meal and gave me a free "dessert," their signature breakfast dish. It was awesome! I'm a huge fan and will be going again.
