Best meal ever.. fantastic environment, amazingly outstanding food. The staff knew everything about every meal. Certainly a place for a special meal.

These were so good. We both had the Angry Lobster for main, this was AMAZING. So many flavours and alot of meat..... actually thought i was going to roll all the way back to the hotel i was so full. A little on the pricey side for what we ordered but menu is extensive and reasonable otherwise. Great night
Really good food, great service. If you want to dip your toes into the fine dining scene, without the price tag this would be a great place to start. It'll still run you a few hundred, but it's quite good. Get the sticky ribs.
400+ bill very meh tasting for what you are paying for to be brutally honest. The duck and the crispy fish is the best out of everything we ordered. Food portions wasn’t even a lot, left the restaurant not close to full. The service is good but they asked us at least 12 times if we needed anything and how the food was with 3 different waiters/servers. A little too much.
But the view of the beach is nice and the interior is beautiful which is why I have the place four stars. Remember to get your parking validated.

Lots of options on the menu for fish and meat eaters, looked around at other tables and everyone seemed very pleased with their food, drink and overall presentation.
There wasn’t as much selection for veggie / vegan clientele, what we did select was flavourful and good enough however feel it was abit overpriced for basic edamamme , miso soup and steamed veg/tofu with rice. Feedback is: better effort required for veg/vegan options and overall presentation for this category for the pricing .
Great service, we went with our server’s recommendation, and we were so happy that she was super honest with her recommendations. Her name was Janee and she was super sweet. Highly recommend the sticky ribs and angry lobster. We also ordered the fish carpaccio, crispy rice, kalbi and the chocolate sphere. Everything was delicious.
We love Morimoto, as a personality and his restaurants. When I found out he had a location in Oahu I made sure we went there. This location was 50 minutes away from our resort but so worth it. The staff was super friendly, took the time to explain items on menu and when they were brought to the table.
As expected the food was out of this world, from appetizers to desserts (I can actually say that was the best doughnut I ever ate outside of a doughnut shop).

Morimoto Asia was an excellent place for dinner. We had the duck and the angry lobster. Angry lobster is advertised as very spicy because it has curry on-top but it was actually quite mild and insanely delicious. The duck was cooked very well, but I am unable to give a fair review because that was my first time having duck. Drinks were very tasty, definitely recommend the lychee martini. Will be returning when I come back to Honolulu!
World known chef, with many restaurants around the world. The food was good, but I expect more. Nice outdoor seating area, friendly service, made for a nice evening. The sushi pizza was ok, similar ones can be found elsewhere. The ishiyaki Buri bop (the winning dish on one of the iron chef competitions) was tasty, not mind blowing. The mapo tofu was the winner that evening, it packed a punch of flavours and spice. The suruga sazerac, beautifully presented, tasted fantastic.
My friends and I had a wonderful meal on a perfect Saturday evening. We were seated on the balcony with views of the beautiful sunset. We tried several appetizers with the chicken wonton being my go-to. My friends really enjoyed the ribs and miso soup. I had the Angry Lobster as my entrée which was flavorful (although nothing like the one served at Pontes in NYC). This had more of a curry base which was really nice.
