The food was good but the cheesecakes definitely live upto it’s reputation. Massive portions though so watch how much you order
I was impressed and surprised by how much I enjoyed my meal here! I was expecting the bland, flavourless Westie food that I'm used to in New Zealand, but the Brick Chicken blew me away. Seasoned perfectly (see: heavily; unlikely restaurants back home), and service with a smile. The sweet potato fries were amazing as well, just so crispy and satisfying. Definitely worth the 2 hour wait, and very fair prices at that.

This is a busy one !! We put our names down at the front desk and were given a beeper and advised the wait time would be around 20 mins. This was spot on. Once we were seated our waiter came over and introduced himself. When we told him we are from Australia, he was so excited, it turns out he lived around 20 mins from us when he was visiting / working in Aus many years ago.
The food was great, the food service a little slower than normal but given how busy they were it was to be expected. I had plenty of bread and lemonade refills.

Came in here for breakfast the first day I was in Hawaii and was a bit mad about how long h=we had to wait. At first I was very unimpressed as we waited around 15 minutes to be seated even though the place was very big and quite empty making the queue very long for no reason. We got very frustrated that another group were let in before us because they'd only been waiting for about 5 minutes unlike us that waited for 15. When we got seated we were placed outside but still in the shade so that it wouldn't feel that hot and off putting. THe waiter we got for our table was so nice and kind and was very enthusiastic and seemed like she actually enjoyed her job. The wait was a bit tiring and long, but after we got our meals we were filled up very quickly. The portion size was very big aand you can probably split in between 2 people. The ambience is very different from where i've been before and was quite crowded due to the many tables all over the place. The food tasted great but wasn't anything to " woahhhh " reaction type of food. After having our meal we never got around to even trying some of thier famous cheesecakes though as the main meal was fulling enough already. Keen to come back and try their cheesecake next time I come back to Hawaii :) .

This is my all time favourite restaurant to go to in Waikiki!
Food never disappoint and the portion size is massive! We normally order one main, one appetizer salad and a cheesecake for dessert to share between two people.
The best cheesecake in my opinion is their oreo cheesecake.
The only issue with this restaurant is that it's often really loud so it will be hard to talk to your friends at the table.
We all know Cheesecake Factory is popular for their cheesecakes but does their savoury mains up to speed with what they are popular for? We will find out as we dined in at their Honolulu branch when we had our holiday there several months ago. Cheesecake Factory in Honolulu like in most popular cities in the United States always have long queues, were not used to this kind of situation because in New Zealand life is quite laid back and relaxed, we barely queue for food and menu is not complicated, in other words its stress free. It was a total opposite in Honolulu but once in a while it’s acceptable and since we were in a holiday why not try to queue and let’s see whether it’s all worth it.
The food was nice but didn’t have many gluten free and dairy free options to choose from despite the huge menu! The waitress was very friendly and helpful though and it’s a great location!
Good basic food. Unbelievable cheesecakes. The place is the most popular place in Hawaii due to the huge variety of cheesecakes it’s like no where else for this. Food I would rate though as good but basic pub/ bar food.
Turned up at 5pm with a short 5 minute wait. Lots of GF choices on the menu. Soft drink refills available. Fast service and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Very popular restaurant in the heart of Waikiki. Always a queue so get there early if you don't want to wait. The food was good and the portion sizes were massive, my wife and I shared one of the pastas and sliders and couldn't finish it all. Only complaints are that the person that brought out our food put waaay too much parmesan on the pasta and the server was trying a little too hard to earn her tip. Good experience overall however
Excellent service, excellent food and large portions. So many dishes to try, but every dish is high quality. I'm not a fan of cheesecakes or anything of the sort, but their cakes are amazing! The only thing that wasn't that good was the waiting time. It's always busy despite the size of the restaurant which is understandable if the food is good. The waiting time can stretch to over 1 hour so I'd go there an hour prior and return to my hotel on the same street.

One of my favourite and go-to restaurants in Hawaii, I enjoyed every part of my dining experience. Each dish was tasty and they come in large portions. The menu is extensive, but we were too full to try the cheesecake. There was also complimentary bread for starters. Tropical smoothie was my favourite drink, would hands down come back here again. Waiting time was approximately 40 minutes
Very good food. A standout in Honolulu. Sadly I have to say coming from Australia that the food in Australia is much better than the US and at a lot lower price. A lot of the places in Honolulu wouldn’t survive in Australia.
We had the fish tacos and poke which were excellent. Prices were reasonable. Very enjoyable
Food and customer service is tops! Servings are so big, we only needed 1 appetiser and 1 mains for a family of 4. We had dinner here twice. Tried a few dishes and we’re all happy with what we got. I would recommend avocado roll, buffalo wings, any pasta and any pizza and of course cheesecake for dessert!!! A must try and then again and again....

Once you’ve been here it’s clear to see what all the fuss is about. We walked past several times during our stay in Oahu and there was always a decent queue out the door. Good thing is they give you a buzzer and an estimated time so you can stroll around nearby until a tables available. The fridges / display cabinets are well stocked with giant cheesecakes in an assortment of delicious flavours. These are available for takeaway so if your just after dessert I’d recommend it in order to jump the queue.
The service was fantastic and our waiter Ken did a great job looking after us during dinner service. We went with his recommendations – Cobb salad (vege) and the mac n cheese balls. Both great options if your vegetarian and the portions were huge. The salad was ginormous!! Packed with fresh produce (lettuce, beetroot, chickpeas, beans, tomato, quinoa, avo) it was a nice heathy dish. The mac and cheese balls were delicious and we’d happily order these again.
On to the cheesecake!! Already pretty full we ordered a slice to share. We choose the White choc chunk and raspberry truffle with whipped cream. Amazing!! Although it’s not one of the fanciest flavours it was a classic done well. With small chunks of chocolate and a well-balanced raspberry tang, these two flavours were a match made in heaven. Definitely worth a visit for not only the food but the famous cheesecakes.
Service here is really good! They have a lot of seating and it can get busy with waiting times - especially at night. I got the 30th anniversary cheesecake with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, it tasted soo good! Not overly sweet and not too bland, just right. My friend got the spicy tacos and they were very good too! The mai tai was very strong! Probably the strongest i’ve ever tried. Prices here are reasonable.
Very busy place for dinner. We had to wait for 45mins as they only do the walk ins, no bookings. Then we got to sit inside next to the stage which the music was bit loud and it was a bit hard to hear each other talk and it’s was a bit dark, can’t really see the menu or food.
Apart from that food was good and very big meals. We could not finish it And also good value.
I can't remember the last time I went to a Cheesecake Factory and there happens to be one in Honolulu. There were people lining up, but we were really lucky to get a table immediately. Reminds me of Big Bang Theory. A big display lined with cakes. . I wanted this Ultimate Red Velvet Cheese Cake Cheesecake. However, we were too full to order a piece after we finish lunch.
We had a late lunch here, there was no line to get in and plenty of tables. I had a macaroni and cheese burger and a Reese’s peanut butter chocolate cheesecake.
I chose sweet potato fries with my burger. The burger and fries tastes really good and the cheesecake was also very nice. Although I’m a sweet tooth I struggled to completely finish the whole cheesecake. Would definitely go here again.
This place is a must! If you’re looking for an endless menu with loads of cheesecake options you won’t be let down here. It is definitely busy at night so you should book beforehand but there’s a reason why it’s busy. Loaded, massive plates, full of good food and it is inexpensive. The waiters are very pleasant and helped us with the menu (I definitely needed to narrow it down and he helped me choose the most popular item). I ordered the Chicken Madeira, the chicken was tender and the mash was amazing!
The best restaurant I have ever been to! No exaggeration. The wait is worth it, and they give you buzzers that go off when your table is ready. Inside is just massive, but the menu is even bigger! I have never seen a menu as extensive as this one and the food options were endless.
My family and I came twice during our stay in Hawaii, and both times the service and food were impeccable. The portions were just massive, and these photos don’t do it justice. On our table we had a mix of salads, pizzas, fries and burgers. All came out extremely fast and all were mouth-watering. Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life.
Lastly, we had to try some cheesecake. The white chocolate and raspberry one was just heavenly, so good that my family and I have tried to recreate it at home - though it will never come close to this one.
One of the saddest things about leaving Hawaii was knowing we don’t have a restaurant like this back home.
Regardless of what the reviews say, face it, you are coming here! Huge portions, heavy meals, lots of flavour, heaps of creamy fat filled goodness. You are going to enjoy your meal, we came here several times during the week. The wait time is ridiculous, so either have an early dinner or get it to go.
In terms of cheesecake, can't go past the fresh strawberry cheesecake.

If you’re after no less than a zillion menu items in epic proportions you’ve come to the right place. And it’s soooo popular!! Seeing a break in the perpetual queue, we seized the opportunity for an early lunch.
Sharing is caring so we split buffalo wings to start. They’re good but the hero was the thick blue cheese dressing with cheesy chunks. Yummo. There’s an additional random gravyboat of ranch dressing on the side because: FOOD.
Next up: eggplant parmigiana. Our helpful & personable waiter recommended we share the smaller lunch size serving. Nope, still couldn’t finish it. Seriously you guys, it was two giant parmi slabs served with pasta! Imagine the full size version! Parmi itself was dense & comforting & lathered in a rich tomato sauce. Pesto pasta was perfectly al dente with lashings of olive oil. Distended bellies aside, it was all good quality & defo good value.
So yep we went to The Cheesecake Factory & didn’t have space left for freaken cheesecake. Boo. Had to see what all the fuss was about though & were pleasantly surprised.
This place is simply amazing! No exaggeration there! Best place to swing by here is around 11 am cause the line’s not that long, by the time 11:30 strikes people just keeps coming. You should try their original cheesecake, to die for! Their mushroom burger is also sooo good. I’d definite come back here again!
Our five year old demolished her spaghetti and meatballs and was suitably entertained to allow us to enjoy some great food. We shared the buffalo wings and then hubby had the jambalaya and I had the white bean chicken chilli. We tried to choose dishes not so common back home. Very happy with our choices. We had to get take home boxes - not for want of trying to finish but such decent serves. Also got the carrot cake and key lime cheesecakes to take away - because when in Rome ;-).
Hope to go back - a fun ‘American’ experience.

The Cheesecake Factory is a must try if you're in the area! Food: so many choices! Every dish we ordered was perfect in taste and portion size. We started the night with a few drinks then we ordered the seared ahi (tuna), fried chicken + mash, steak dish (forgot its name) and finished off with a slice of caramel pecan turtle cheesecak. With a personal waiter as well who was very friendly and helpful, our experience here couldn't have been any better.
This place is just... WOW!
We ordered sliders (so dilling) and the Bacon Bacon burger! Wowzers! The cheesecake was just so delicious and immaculate!
You really need to have a booking or come in off-peak times during the day to be able to get in with ease, I can see why!
I must say that it was the best restaurant in Waikiki. Tried many within our 11 days stay. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert... Top quality. Great assistance by the waiters and waitresses.
The wait may have been 45 mins for a table but it was defs worth it. The meals were great & massive- so you can probs share if you’re wanting to save money. The complimentary bread is also really delicious
It seems everyone I know who have visited Hawaii have been to the Cheesecake Factory, so obviously we have to go. The queue at dinner time was going to be massive, so instead we went around 10pm for some desserts. Pretty much got seated straight away, surprise to see a really extensive savoury menu for the place with a dessert in it's name. The varieties of cheesecake they have was also very impressive. Not normally a cheesecake fan, but I do love a tiramisu, so got the tiramisu cheesecake. The slice serving was huge, along with a big dollop of cream. The difference between this and a normal tiramisu is the mascarpone is replaced by cheesecake, this works for me, about on par with a tiramisu. My friend gone for the all American pumpkin & pumpkin pecan, which was served with 2 huge dollops of cream. It's a bit heavy, and nice if you're into pumpkin pie.
It was awesome ... One of our fond memories of Hawaii. I recommend “Must Visit” to one and all. Wish to have an out let soon in Pune India too.

Food tasted okay and so did the cheesecake. There is an extensive dessert menu which always scores bonus points from me.

Super friendly staff. Shootout to Amber who was very attentive sorry Mike but she rocks.. she can give you pointers 😂 we got a quick tour of the place and automatically fell in love with this place the beautiful live music also helped with the ambiance within the restaurant. What started off as a romantic date then a quick change to a family dinner to have the rest of the family join us it was nice to see how accommodating they were at such short notice at a very busy time on a Friday night.
So the menu which has at least 250 items lol maybe overwhelming to some but the reccomendations from your waiter helps you at the end.
Portions are humoungas so most def. Alot of value for your money. Do not feel that you have to eat all of it up and one go. They will pack your food for you to go back home with or take it to your hotel.

Pro tip- do not stess out about tipping! Being that we are from New Zealand where we don't tip we found it awesome that on the final bill they gave it already had tipping prices on it so we didn't have to try and figure out what was a reasonable tip. This is very handy.
Delicious! Generous proportions too! The Oreo cheesecake is recommended if you love Oreos as snacks! Not too pricey either and the staff is friendly, they just get very busy. The caesar salad with pizza and the cheeseburger was great too! Would love to visit again.

The Cheesecake Factory is located on the main strip of Waikiki beach. Definitely worth the rave and the wait in the line to be there. From our stay in Oahu, definitely was the longest wait we saw to be seated with some people waiting for approx 2hrs.
We got there early at 5:45pm to get a buzzer for a table and waited only 45 mins. Food was very cheap considering the large and super tasty meal portions. This was consistent across all the meals ordered on our table. Very satisfying and everyone went home happy! Food was delicious.
Good service good atmosphere and nice food. I didn't eat to much here but what I tried was nice. The cheese cakes are good, I think they should have a bit more of biscuit for the base but that's just my opinion
Have been here previously on holidays to Waikiki. Extensive menu options, huge servings, friendly staff. We rocked up at 5pm to avoid the dinner queue and were seated right away. Had the fish tacos and fried chicken sliders, both were really tasty! Then followed that up with red velvet cheesecake which was huge but also delicious. My cocktail was yum and the bread they brought out was also good. We both ate too much but the quality of the food is pretty good which is why it's so popular! Only negative is the huge queues around dinner time!
Nothing is better than Dining in this Branch .. as usually CKF is always Full and a line to wait for tables ... but whenu get there with your dedicated hostess you will feel that the whole resturant at your service .
FOOD is the best .. Crab cake is something else ... you smell Hawaii as U live in it but more less You enjoy the food there .

Was in Hawaii and this place came recommended. Menu caters for everyone, 28 pages last time we were there. Food was great, prices are good and tipping rates are fair. Went there twice in 1week.
I ordered i take out for cheesecake, and God it was so divine, the best cheesecake I've ever tried,definitely recommend it and will be going back once I visit Hawaii again.
Been here 4 times within 5 days. Portions are always very generous and worth the money. The banana cream cheesecake is to die for. Service is great - always coming by to make sure everything is okay. Always refilling water and asking if we want more free bread (which is delicious).
The best place for food in Waikiki hands down. Excellent family friendly service with delicious food in extremely generous servings. Don't be fooled by the name as this place does delicious savory dishes as well as desserts. We've eaten steaks, burritos, Kailua pork burgers, chocolate brownies not to mention a variety of their cheesecakes. All have been superb and full of flavour. We only have a couple of days left of our vacation and intend eating here every one of them.

We lined up to take home a slice of the red velvet cheesecake and WOW was it a huge slice. The slice was covered in lashings of cream cheese and hidden inside were layers of deliciously moist red velvet cake. What really took it that extra mile were the shavings of white chocolate covering the edge of the cake - one bite of a bit of everything together is going to be a guilty pleasure that I'll CRAVE!! I wish I had enough space in my stomach to try more flavours. Needless to say, we'll be back for more!!
A well known brand, offering everything from burgers to pastas or salads or mains. The main attraction is of course all the various (over 30) types of cheesecakes. Worth trying just that alone.
Every time I go to America I have Cheesecake Factory at the back of my mind, so was very happy when I found it in Waikiki

Being an avid viewer of trashy American television this place was iconic to me before I'd even set foot in the country. It's definitely not fine dining but a place named for and devoted to cheesecakes was always going to be damn fine in my book. There are sah many cheesecakies on the menu. Like there's actually in excess of 30. If it wasn't such a such long wait we would have returned a few more times although there is the handy option of getting your dessert takeaway. I went for the thirtieth anniversary chocolate cake cheesecake cos that seemed quite indulgent but they pretty much had whatever you could think of. There was even several low carb cheesecakes. Only in America!
Never been disappointed no matter where i go. Cheese cake factory -great in portion size. Decadent and luscious desserts. Always busy. Service is good but when its busy, depending on your table, space can be small and loud given the large number of people. Pastas are delicious.
This place is huge and almost full at lunchtime. Air con is freezing inside while the outdoors seats have all been taken. Ambience is quite nice inside but too dark.
All the meals are really big and enough to share between 2 people.

The buffalo wings were apparently delicious but also quite a lot for one person.
Tried the tiramisu cheesecake. The coffee soaked sponges at the bottom were too strong. Cheesecake itself is nice and creamy but nothing special. At least the single piece size is not too big.

AMAZING. I can't fault anything here. We came here because of the line everytime we walked past and it was so worth it. We went around 5.30 and waited around half an hour to be called. Our server Geoffrey was very nice and we ended up ordered most of his recommendations. And of course we had to order cheesecake for dessert and the mango key lime one was amazing! Walked out completely stuffed and content. Will be back in a few days..
Been coming here for years 20 to be exact. Same food and service every time, its good if you like American style food. The wait can be exhausting lining up to get a buzzer and then the wait till the buzzer goes off and the pace a little too hectic inside but once your seated its ok. There's a very very big range of food, the menu is very extensive. We had three dishes to share for lunch, my favourite the tex-mex rolls, Cobb Salad and Pulled pork Quasedias. Corfffee as they pronounced it, iced tea and coke.
Very fresh and super fast. The food here is not heavy, it's quite refreshing to be very honest.
Always great flavours and delicious meals along with the great service. Went as a party of six most of us enjoyed a combo meal of steak Dianne with either salmon or chicken with their delicious mash (which I am sure is swimming in butter that is why it is yummmm).
Could not resist in indulging in the red velvet cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake and my new favourite keylime.This was enjoyed with a very strong Mai Tai.

We waited 30 minutes, which didn't take long at all. Got a nice table, waiter came to us within a few minutes. Hubby got a Molokiki Sunset cocktail, which was amazing! I recommend that drink for sure. I got a coffee, very delicious :)
For our meal Hubby got Sesame Tuna with Rice (sorry I don't recall the full meal name) He loved his meal! He stopped eating to save some for later, but he could have eaten the whole meal.
I got the Shrimp amd Sausage pasta, which was pretty tasty but I should have picked something unique, something different.
We got our cheesecake to go, we choose Salted Caramel. Everyone needs to try that one, the entire cheesecake was moist and gooey, we didn't want it to end!

Been here twice and both times service was great! Walked in & got seated almost straight away. I have to admit I prefer the bread they give while you wait for your meal at the Vegas chains as they come out nice, warm & crunchy - but who goes here just for that? With so many choices it's hard to believe their quality of food is good but somehow they manage to get it right majority of the time. The prices are pretty reasonable & they have lunch specials mostly under $15 & are a smaller, more manageable size. If you do decide to get a main, be warned - the portions are big so if you aren't used to that I suggest you share or take whatever you don't eat away in a takeaway container. One thing that I still find confusing is the whole tipping thing, but then again us aussies are blessed to not have to deal with that....not that I'm complaining about the service at this place.
First time we ordered the vegan cobb salad with shrimp approx $13 ($5+ extra for 4 prawns? Not worth it imho) but the salad was nice & fresh. We also ordered the Renee special - half a chicken/almonsandwich with an onion soup & side salad approx $13. Second visit we ordered the vegan cobb salad (only problem was there was a tiny stalk of asparagus) & the original burger approx $13. Overall the salad was still tasty as ever just found it weird that the asparagus was a little too skinny. The burger was good (glad we shared this as it would've been too heavy to eat a full burger) & they give you an option of how you would like the patty to be cooked (medium, well etc). We also tried the new cheesecake but I forgot what it was called - it had a nice biscuit base with nutella on the top, if I have a chance to visit again I will take a pic of what it is called. Overall, you will be bound to enjoy your visit to any of the chains.
So many choices! Awesome food and unreal cheesecakes, the hardest part is choosing one out of the 34 options! All main meals we had in our party of 4 were top quality, reasonably priced and quickly served. Servers had a very good knowledge of the menu and were spot on with their recommendations. We went back twice during or week in Waikiki and would definitely recommend!
Just wow! They do not take bookings so just turn up a little earlier before the rush! The waitress we had was attentive and food came out gloriously fast! The blood orange mojito is a must! The buffalo wings were crispy and the blue cheese sauce had real blue cheese chunks in it! The fish tacos were fresh and tasty - perfect flavours. The scampi and beef were cooked to perfection. The cheesecake collection is amazing! We had the carrot cheesecake and the banana cheesecake. The carrot cheesecake was just divine! Prices are extremely reasonable! A must try!
Loved this place from the start as the interior decor is great. Great menu and super difficult to make a choice as they are so many yummy selections. Portion sizes are huge so would be tough to order 2 or 3 courses. Highly recommend the lemon herbed salmon and the smoothies. Reasonably cheap prices which is a bonus.
I love cheesecake factory. Not only are the cheesecakes the bomb. Their food is great also.
For cheesecake, banana cream pie is a must have. You will thank me later.
Last night a girlfriend and I had the lettuce wraps and kalua pork nachos. The servings were huge and tasty.

Went there three times during our stay in Hawaii and it was very enjoyable every time. A long wait with a buzzer that lets you leave the joint after you have booked and return when it goes off. Good food and service and very friendly. Enjoy the margarita
One of the highlights of my food experiences on my vacay was eating here! The location, the ambience and the staff are amazing. I had the veg burger, veggie sandwiches and the factory nachos (yum!). They were all super delicious!

Came here a few times for lunch, dinner and dessert with friends on our recent holiday. Ordered a different dish and cheesecake each time and the menu certainly didn't disappoint.
The first time we came here was for lunch, it wasn't too busy as we got there a few minutes after the restaurant opened. We were straight away greeted by a friendly waiter who showed us to our table. Ordered an appetizer - the southern chicken sliders which seemed more like a main meal, it was very tasty! Unfortunately there was a long wait between finishing our appetizer and receiving our main meals. We were so amazed at the huge servings, none of us could finish our meals! The waiter was always on top of refilling our soft drinks and waters, we never once had to ask for a refill.
The next few times we came here was for dessert and we tried a different cheesecake each time for dessert. This time around the restaurant was a lot more busier with a bit of a wait for a table. Between the 3 of us we had to share a slice of the cheesecake, but even then we still weren't able to finish the huge slice!
Went here for dinner on our last night of the holiday and ordered the grilled steak tacos, they were absolutely delicious! Also ordered the s'mores cheesecake which I would highly recommend, I would have to say that was my favourite cheesecake overall.
Although this is a very busy and highly popular restaurant, it is definitely worth the wait for a table. There is so much variety to choose from the menu. All staff are very friendly and attentive, the service was fantastic each time. Cannot wait to return here again!
Honolulu remains a hugely popular travel destination for Australians – in fact I heard so many Aussie accents everywhere I thought we’d taken over the place. An easy plane ride (well compared to Europe or New York), clean beaches, plenty of shopping and warm weather all year round, what’s not to love?
One cannot go to Waikiki without going to The largest Cheesecake Factory restaurant and it is worth the wait (although we always try to go during non-peak times).
Service is great and even with all the tables for serving, the time from order to the plates on our table didn't seem long at all. The choices here are endless and there will definitely be something for everyone. It's more about actually trying to decide on what to eat that takes time. With endless refills for soda as well, what more could you ask for?

Easily the best place I ate at during my stay in Hawaii. The quality of food and service was second to none on every visit. So much delicious meals to choose from as well! After finding out that this place sits over roughly 600 people and has 100 staff on, my mind was even more blown. Absolutely amazing!
An excellent choice for even better food! We've had the Cheesecake Factory before, so this was not our first time. We chose the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake as our dessert, and it did not disappoint!
Went here for our valentine dinner. A very very busy place. We waited for about 30 minutes. The staff were very nice, attended to our every requests. The foods were tasty. I like the fried macaroni and cheese and the pasta taste good too. The 30th anniversary chocolate cake cheesecake was so rich and luscious.
Popped in here for morning tea, just ordered cheesecakes and that ended up being enough for lunch as well. These were amazing! Incredible flavour and more than enough. Keen to try there meals now.
We went here for dinner 3 nights in a row. Great food. I have fussy kids yet they loved the food here. Menu is huge and the surprising thing is everything we ordered was amazing. Staff were great but this is a given in places were they rely on tips. Get there early for dinner. Then you can walk around while you wait because you will be waiting for a table!
The food here is so good. The steak tacos are just bursting with flavour and the portions are a great size. The strawberry cheesecake was delicious, it was so light and fluffy. It's good we don't have The Cheesecake Factory in Melbourne or I would just eat cheesecakes all day. It was quite busy, but that's what you should expect from somewhere that serves great food.
We came here for lunch and cheesecakes and thought the food tasted great. Quick service and delicious food. Portions are enormous! You definitely don't need as much as what is served!

The Cheesecake Factory has lines alllllll day long. We thought we'd try have a late lunch/ early dinner at 5pm and there was still a line. Line does move quickly given the size of the restaurant (it's huge!!) and well, you can't really come to Waikiki and not visit the Cheesecake Factory!!
We decided to order a couple of dishes and share them all and with the help of our waiter, we decided on the buffalo strips, the thai chicken lettuce wraps and the shrimp and chorizo penne pasta. Highlights; the lettuce wraps. Ahhhhhh, 5/6 different salads with beautiful charred chicken strips and 3 sauces to choose from or mix and match. It was a delicious, fun and fresh way to start our meal. Buffalo strips were slightly below average in my opinion though.
We finished with a cheesecake, which unfortunately had plastic in it. A shame for an establishment of this standard but it was wiped from the bill without any hassle so definitely well dealt with.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. The servings are quite large so my friend and I shared the Tomato Basil Pasta which was lovely. After I had the cookie dough cheesecake which again was delicious! I will certainly come back here while I'm in Hawaii.
Ok seriously i had so much trouble picking what i was going to eat! Pages and pages to choose from. But the cheescakes... out of this world (as you would hope). Our eyes were way bigger than our stomachs. But the salted caramel and the banana, you cant go past and oreo.. and strawberry. Ok ill stop now :) just definately go visit!

I like The Cheesecake Factory just as much as the next guy but the lineups here is very off-putting. I guess the appeal is partly due to the large number or tourists looking for something familiar. The other reason is probably due to the value you get here. They don’t skimp on portion size and you’re sure to walk (or waddle) away with a full belly.
We’ve been here many times before (here and here) so I’m not going to waste your time telling you how good the dark honey-oat bread is… on with the pictures!
The Tropical Smoothie ($6.95) with mango, passionfruit, pineapple, and coconut is frothy and blended with ice to cool you down from the hot Hawaiian sun. Next to it is the Raspberry Lemonade ($4.95).
The Luau Salad ($15.95) is simply enormous and could easily feed 2 or more people. The salad has grilled chicken breast layered with mixed greens, pineapple, cucumbers, red and yellow peppers, green beans, carrots, onions, macadamia nuts and large crispy wonton wrappers.
For my main, I picked the Bacon-Bacon Cheeseburger ($14.95) charbroiled with both cheddar and American cheese, crispy bacon, and thick-cut roasted, smoked bacon. Because who doesn’t want to have bacon on top of their bacon?
For dessert, the Lemon Meringue Cheesecake is a lemon cream cheesecake topped with layers of lemon mousse and meringue.
If you do decide to visit The Cheesecake Factory in Waikiki, try to avoid their busy times.
From my last review, I tried their Macaroni and Cheese Burger - this was a really great, messy, cheesy, meaty burger!

Lone was huge waited 1 hour for a table. Waitress we had was named jess and she was fantastic. With such a huge menu she took the time to help us choose meals and gave great recommendation on deserts. Meals again are massive and reasonably priced.
It started with a small amount of frustration with the wait times. My table of 10 was going to have to wait 90 minutes at 10pm at night. However they managed to split us into two groups and sit us side by side in 20 minutes, a big play from the manager. The menu was to die for. So much selection and diverse variety to chose from. Our server was funny, polite and efficient considering how busy the restaurant was, he did extremely well under the circumstances. The food arrived quickly and as described in the menu. Overall good experience other than the wait time, but that isn't any fault of the staff! 4.0 out of 5.0
This place is literally more like a factory than a restaurant. With a menu containing over 250 items and as thick as War and Peace it would be almost impossible not to find something you like. The place is always packed with people waiting in line as bookings cannot be guaranteed.
The atmosphere is frantic - and the staff numbers required to serve all the patrons is staggering. But it all works like a Swiss watch.
The variation of meals is amazing and even the appetisers are big enough. Be sure to leave room for one of their 50 choices for desert and cheesecakes.

I wouldn't wait 90 minutes for a table, there are plenty of other places to go in Waikiki. We went in on a Sunday around 1pm and had our party of 5 seated immediately. I don't know why there were 50+ people seated around the entrance. CCF has a good reputation everywhere and we felt it was maintained at this restaurant. Nicole was a very friendly and attentive server and the bussers were friendly. I found the atmosphere loud and dark, but not enough to make me walk out. We were pleased with all our food. The cheese burger was a perfect medium rare. All of our food (chicken blasters, Mac n Cheese, Chicken Katsu, Avocado Rolls, fish Tacos) was very tasty and well presented. We took 2pc of cheesecake home for a late night snack. I would recommend going and choosing a wait time that suits you.

The best thing about the Cheesecake Factory is the wonderful array of mouth watering cheesecakes. There they sit as you enter the restaurant in all their colourful glory just waiting to br devoured!! The baked cheesecake was just yum also the lemoncello torte heaven on a plate
One of the most popular restaurants in Waikiki, you will often see a line to get in.
The dining room is large and extends all the way inside. While the dining room is nice and is at a good temperature with the AC running, it can be quite loud with music playing and the noise coming from all the other people in the restaurant.
The servers are friendly and efficient.
The menu has many options and you may find it difficult to decide on an option. I did find the food to be just average, nothing special but not bad either.
The portion sizes are proper American sizes so be sure to come with an appetite. Unfortunately we were completely stuffed so we couldn't fit in any cheesecake, but I have heard that their cheesecake is highly rated.
Overall a good experience for some sit down food in Waikiki. Worth visiting at least once.

Eating here can be challenging due to how busy it becomes. The line usually goes out door, so be prepared to wait. There is no option for advanced bookings, only walk in is available. We were lucky to get a table so quickly during peak time as it was only 3 of us. The service is great here and staff are very attentive. The food is well portioned and tastes great, so make sure you’re ready to eat.

We went for dinner Saturday around 5:30 pm. We weee able to get a table outside in about 20 minutes.
Nice ambience and our waiter Imua offered great service. Very pleasant and quick with everything.
The restaurant offers inside and outside sitting. To be outside with Hawaii weather is a nice experience.
The bread was delicious and warm. We went for the vegetarian salad and ribeye. Both dishes were delicious 😋

Michael S not only has the best hair in the restaurant, he also has the best service. The food is always ridiculously good and the service made it that much better. We were sat within 5 minutes of our reservation.
When we went about 5pm, it was great. I don't suggest you line up after 7pm or try to order after 9 when you get a seat. I did end up with my 5th choice and it was dry. But 100% recommended the cheesecake. We tried 4 and they were great.
Had the macaroni and cheese burger, and a veggie burger. Both were very delicious with lots of flavor.
Very expensive for a regular chain restaurant, but this is Waikiki, so….
