Fantastic grilled plate, had the surf and turf, def more turf inside than surf, but very juicy and flavorful! There’s a little market inside, they sell fruit and cream cheese scones, we tried the banana cream cheese one, was nice! Very soft and moist, tasted more like banana bread than scone. Would
I got the Haupia Ube Macadamia cake and a mixed plate with mac salad based on a recommendation from a Hawaiian travel blog. You can see the staff preparing the food through the window so you know it's fresh, plus my food came out after only about ten minutes. The meats were all very tender. Super go
Such a good lunchspot after hiking the diamond head trail. The food was really good! We had the teri burger (so juicy and yummy), the chicken teriyaki sandwich and the grillad garlic and herb chicken plate. All of it was really good. There is no destination area which we did not understand before ar
It is a bare bones kind of setup. Order, move on down and wait. Don't sleep on this place. Food was outstanding and the baked goods from the market were great.
We had their surf and turf plate. It was delicious and more than enough to feed 2 people. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great with the rice and salad on the side. We also had their desserts. The banana, chocolate, peanut cake is fresh and delicious and so we're the blueberry scones!
I go when it just opens because the parking lot can get full quick. I ordered the BBQ Pork rib plate recently and the meat was fall off the bone delicious. Edit as of Sept. 10, 2023: This review is for the bakery side. A pastry costs as much as a McDonalds BigMac. It tastes good but it doesn't make
Amazing!! Spotted this perfect lunch spot from the traffic light on the corner. We ordered the Garlic Herb Chicken Breast Sandwich & the BBQ Gorgonzola Bacon Burger. Both sandwiches were served nice n’ hot, & were made with the perfect balance of flavors. Highly recommended for a satisfying and deli
Loved it! I got the chicken teriyaki plate and the chicken was fantastic!!! Prices are great for area and overall great time. They don’t have seating there but great to stop
Great neighborhood plate lunch place. Food was very good. We got the mix plate (awesome), mushroom burger plate (so ono), BBQ gorgonzola burger (omg so good), 2 orders of fries (well done and so crispy) and side order of potato mac salad (traditional local eats).
This place is my FAVE!!! Amazing plate lunches, salads, sandwiches. I’m pretty sure we’ve been there three times this week it’s so good! I like the miso ginger salmon salad or the teriyaki chicken!!! They have a really cool market inside with to go food and yummy desserts. A great place if you want
Didn’t try any of the hot food, but I did get some sweets from the market side and they were exceptional. Do not leave without getting a square of the Okinawan sweet potato haupia!! The flavors pair beautifully, it’s not too sweet, and the macadamia cookie crust really finishes this with perfection.
Got a couple blueberry scones. So so good. Plenty of other fresh prepared food. Just no inside seating which would be nice when it'd raining.
I give Kelvin Ro credit that he's still kicking it after all these years. Nice, Quaint eatery in the Diamond Head area. Not cheap, but not expensive either. The Market has some very nice cold selections and there's a microwave in case you need to heat up an entree that's meant to be eaten hot as wel
Love, love, love this tiny market with a few choice prepared foods and its adjacent plate-lunch grill. I go on every visit. True local eats like fried rice and breakfast musubi to go, as well as luscious and not-too-sweet one-of-a-kind desserts. On my last two visits I missed the mochiko chicken sal
This is a great spot to get take out dinner near Waikiki. There is a small parking lot in front of the grill. My husband got the loco moco and I got the wasabi shoyu ahi salad. My husband enjoyed his loco moco and I loved the salad. It was nice to have some fresh greens and the ahi was seared and we
Great local food 😀 and in the store a huge assortment of sides, single desserts, cakes and scones. So good I went back again! Make sure you try this hidden gem 💎
Wow, I had the Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich and it was so good. The Chicken was marinated for at least 24 hours and the flavor was great. Prices were reasonable too.
