Super hardworking staff. Sam, the owner, is very friendly and always looking to make the customer happy. The prices are right. When I eat here I feel like I’m back in NYC. It’s my favorite Italian spot in Honesdale.
The restaurant was clean a day well kept up. And so where the rest rooms. We ate early at around four pm. Service was excellent, we were well taken care of. Food was hot and tasty. Although they were busy with take outs. In town and no private parking lot, We found on street parking close to the Restaurant. We shall return.
Thank you for 7 delicious pies! I called and added to my order after my initial order. They were very courteous and said no problem just give us a couple extra minutes. They were done promptly when they said and with all smiles. Much appreciated! The pizza was devoured rather quickly 😁😁
While walking around town I asked the locals for suggestions on where to eat thats good and fair in price for lunch? Everyone suggested this pizzeria. We decided to check it out and were impressed by the food and service. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by their wonderful staff. The atmosphere was quaint and clean. We ordered a regular slice, thick sicilian slice, garlic knots and a rice ball.The food was brought out promptly hot and fresh. If your in the neighborhood and wanna quick bite this would be the place. We will return to enjoy other items from the menu.
Pleasantly surprised at my last visit. Under new ownership and everything was better than last time. UPDATE, last 7 visits have been wonderful until visit of 9/29/23. Waitress was horrible. Throwing plates down on the table, scolding us because we ask what's soup there is instead of looking at the board. Telling me I only have two hands unless you want your bread on the floor when I asked if bread came with our meal. Never coming back to see if we needed anything, and if I did I was afraid to ask her at this point. First time in my life I felt I actually had to complain about a waitress. The owner came over to our table and apologize and did the right thing by giving us a discount. I still recommend the place but if you get the older waitress that talks like she's at a truck stop ask for a different waitress.
Excellent everything! Picture is Chicken Marsala and I had to take half home!! Very generous portions. The server was very attentive.
This place is pretty amazing. The pizza is excellent. I've eaten in and taken out. I've never had to wait to be served dining in. My favorite is the buffalo chicken pizza. It's a bit pricey but I always get it because competitors just dont compare to their smoky buffalo sauce. A must try.. or not.. bc you'll be hooked on that smokey flavor.
Elegentes Restaurant is a local legend in these parts with one the best Italian lunch and dinners this town has to offer. I’d highly recommend their buffalo chicken pizzas, Grandma’s pizza and their hot hero’s. You won’t regret it!

We mostly stop here for the mozzarella sticks. Best ever! The pizza tends to be hit or miss in my opinion. If you order a whole pizza it's best to ask for extra sauce unless you like it on the drier side. Everyone is always kind and courteous. Street parking with meters so make sure you have quarters. Parking is always easy though.
