De Vinci's Pizza

Wonderful experience!. Mariella was an excellent server. I really enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms. Added a sprinkle of salt and parmesian for extra flavor. Loved how generous they were with the cheese. Would have liked a little more stuffing but over all the mushrooms were great. The owner John was very hands on. He checked in multiple times to make sure customers were happy. He kept as busy as his staff, waiting on customers and answering the phone.

The food quality was an issue.  I attempted to call the restaurant to resolve the issue myself.  This is a summation of what happened. I spoke with a server who claimed to be the manager who ridiculed me for requesting that I have the food made the same as it was at least five times before. This time the food was charred on the bottom making it stick to aluminum pan thereby making the dish taste burned. The person (who I found out later was not the manager) basically said good luck in getting a refund.  So, I requested the owner’s information and was told that she would not be back for two weeks.  I called the next day to find out that the real manager's name was John and would be in later.  When I called back, John treated me and my boyfriend the same way - they both were berating, unprofessional and rude. They refused to replace the order and John repeated the same thing Ben said: wait for Ira Day and she won't be back for two weeks and hung up the phone. Unfortunately, it looks like I've wasted my money without ever letting my lips enjoy my meal. What happened to customer satisfaction?

Small intimate restaurant! Great service, top shelf beverages, non alcoholic beverages also, modern decor, and have a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Practice social distancing protocols. Food was delicious. Everything I ordered was served appropriate and at the right temperatures. Had the seafood lasagna first. On this visit, tried something new!

First time going the food was amazing. I reordered the exact same thing through doordash this time and the food is horrible. Bland, no taste just noodles and Spaghetti sauce. I could have gotten a can of Ravioli out of my cabinet. I contacted the restaurant and asked the manager did they have a new cook because of the difference. He stated no but I know something is off. He then proceeds to put me on hold for a half of a second and come back to the phone and says ( We have a house full and mostly everyone has the same thing and they say it’s delicious they are regulars). I don’t care what they have to say I’m telling you my issues. Well then he states if I come back he will give me a free dessert or salad as self he was brushing it off. Not one time did he say he would correct the problem or the order anything of that nature. I definitely will not be returning with service like this. $23 and some change wasted thanks da Vinci’s restaurant Birmingham Alabama!!!!!!!!!!
