My husband and I have been to a lot of BBQ restaurants and haven’t found one that we really like yet. Saw’s made our BBQ dreams come true! I had the pulled pork platter w/ Mac n cheese and coleslaw. The pork was so moist and tender and the best I’ve had since living in Alabama. The Mac n cheese tasted like real and homemade Mac n cheese. So much texture and gooeyness to it. The coleslaw has an awesome taste to it. My husband ordered the chicken platter w/ Mac n cheese and potato salad. I tried the chicken and again so moist and tender. We also ordered a chili baker that we shared. We split it in half because it was so big and filling. Now we have leftovers for dinner as we couldn’t finish our entrees. We took everything to go and the service was fast. Thanks for making my birthday!

I have passed by this location quite a few times before I decided to stop here on Thursday afternoon 4/28, The menu is simple and I didn't see the sampler that someone else referred in a previous review. I decided on the smoked chicken sandwich with the white BBQ sauce and paired it with a UFO Georgia peach beer. I skipped the combo because the beer doesn't count towards a combo but I think it should. They have a limited beer selection and there are fountain drinks available along with iced tea. The parking is tricky as Oxmoor road is very busy and backing out of the parking spaces into traffic takes patience. I will have to figure out which location has the sampler because I really want to try it along with the deviled eggs side dish.

Drove here from GA to have the chicken with the white sauce and it did not disappoint 😋🙌🏽👊🏽. Ordered the Saw's Sampler EVERYTHING WAS GOOOOOD!!! We sapped the legendary white sauce😋😋. My kids loved the ribs so much that we added a half slab....

I walked into a flavorful southern wonderland. The staff are very friendly. The food is flavorful and delicious. I highly suggest the banana pudding. Great location, lots of parking, and quick service.

Some of the best pulled pork I've ever had with a vinegar sauce that ain't too hot, nor too sweet... In my top 3 BBQ places of Bham.

I'm from north. I love southern BBQ. One of the reason, these people. They do damn good job with BBQing chicken and pork. White sauce they use is my favourite; they make it in house.
Chicken and pork where crispy outside, tender and soft I side. Topped with the BBQ sauce. With a beer is a perfect combo. Writing this review I still feel taste and mouth watering. Lol.
Bean sides is just okie. Broccoli properly cooked.
Perfect place to hangout for lunch. Small dining space and outdoor dining. Seems to be the oldest BBQ place in the town. I felt the heritage of the place. They have multiple wall hangings.
Wheel chair accessable. Entrance is south facing.
Visited it twice and I will continue visiting. I recommend the 1st timer to try it out.

Took my teenage sons here when visiting from Oregon and everyone loved the food. Authentic Southern BBQ at its finest. They ordered ribs with 2 sides, Cole slaw and macaroni and cheese. I tried the smoked chicken with white sauce which was amazing!

Our second experience was less enthusiastic than the first. We ordered "Deviled Eggs" (notice the plural which was how listed on menu) and Pimento Cheese with Pepper Jelly w/ BBQ Pork Rinds and a couple of draft beers. Devied eggs arrived and as the you can see one egg, two halves for $4. I was hoping to be blown away for the $2 for half an egg but Not can be make way better at home. The pork rinds and dip was a value but really overkill. As the pic shows, not even a full table of 6 to 8 could consume all of these and although tasty, the pimento cheese was gone long before the mountain of pork rinds. The beers were cold but very pricy ($8 and $10) and staff friendly, just be mindful of what you order.
