This place was a last-minute stop, but boy it didn't disappoint. Our waitress went over the menu and suggested a few item which we did try. They are know for their burgers, which were very good. Over larger portions for the price. Food was very hot and cooked well. Prices for drinks seemed low to fair. I highly recommend a stop in here, and we'll be back.
Uniquely named restaurant has a good vibe. The fried chicken sandwich and onion ring i had was super crunch and crispy. Service was good. No wonder so many customers at the bar around 3pm.
Great food reasonable prices. And a selection that cannot be beat. Ordered our burgers medium well, shoulda done medium but that is our fault, not theirs as it was our first time. Still amazing.
I ordered a hobos burger wrapped in lettuce with bacon and a side of their hand cut fries. The burger was sooo good! I’ll definitely be back for another sometime. The last time I was here I ordered a chicken speidie salad and it was yummy too.
We stopped in for a bite to eat while passing through from Buffalo to Scranton. The food was very good and the service was even better. We loved the ‘sports bar’ atmosphere with hand painted artwork on the walls. It’s a great local bar with good food. My partner and child ordered the chicken fingers; I ordered the Nashville Chicken. The chicken was amazing, my roll was slightly stale. Great homemade slaw. We would eat here again if passing through.
What a small business with a BIG taste. Sampled my wife food great. Pork burger excellent. Mac and cheese, like Mom used to make. Please support this business. Only in town couple times a year. Will be back.
We stopped here on the way back up home to Ottawa. The service was phenomenal; fast and our waitress checked in on us often.
The restaurant interior and bathroom was really clean.
Being from Quebec myself, we were hopeful seeing that a poutine in the USA had cheese curds; we usually only see disco fries on the menu when we’re down here. It was not a good poutine, however Whichever supplier Hobo’s has, I’d definitely recommend a new one because the curds were very stringy and gloopy. The only reason I wouldn’t rate it a 5 star experience.
The chicken fingers were awesome though.
Otherwise, definitely would go back on the next triad trip!
Stopped for a quick bite for lunch. Pleasantly surprised by atmosphere & size of lunch menu. Food was very good, restaurant was very clean, great caricature portrait of different musicians.
The steak panine was OK with much more bun than the two hot dog-shaped steak rods. A fillet cut would be much better with a panine roll.
Great place I hung out with the hobos girls softball team. There there every weds in summer. Had a great time. So much fun. Bartender is a class act.

Every thing was good, would prefer that the pulled pork for their Pork Nachos would have been BBQ or Smoked for that pulled pork flavor, but other wise it was really good and a real large portion, enough for my wife to have it as a meal. The Fried Pickles were done right and great flavor. Loved the Buffalo Wings just the right amount of spice for me. their Basket of Fish had good portions of fish and the fries were nice and tender and well seasoned. I'm planning to go back sometime this year and try more of their menu.
Only one waitress on for lunch time for every one. She did a good job! Chicken cordon blue on panini...Great!!
After driving through Homer many times, each time thinking, "I wonder how this place is?" I now know the answer, "Lovely." The food was great, very nice servers, and a pleasant atmosphere.
We'll be back.
Love coming here for wings or a burger after a long day of showing buyers houses in Homer. The food is always amazing, the beer is cold, the service is great and the atmosphere is always great. One of the best burgers I've ever had hands down. When in Homer this place is a must stop
