Pepe's Mexican Resturant

We ordered food and upon arrival I was told the order was just placed and not ready. I showed them the call on my phone which was 30 mins prior to my arrival time and they said we will make it right away. After standing their for 25 mins, the girl looks at the 2 bags that were sitting in the back the whole time I was standing there and says “ oh these are your order”. I said those 2 bags were there the whole time since I walked in the door and are probably cold now. I asked for the manager ( a young female) and explained to her that the order was sitting there the whole time I stood and waited 25 mins after ordering 30 mins prior to that and is probably cold, her reply was “ I will give you chips and salsa for free” and I explained to her again, I’ve been standing here with my 5 year old waiting for a Oder placed nearly an hour ago and the food is probably cold now and she replied “ you don’t want the chips and salsa, then have a good day” very rude for someone who just inconvenienced myself and 4 other family members waiting for our dinner.

Amazing food, Amazing service. I had a taste for Pepes and I tried a different location a week prior which was horrible. I wanted to find another location and this location hit the spot. Omar was my server and he was very polite and very nice. I wish I was asked if I wanted hot sauce but the food was so good without it.

We went to Pepe's Homer Glen Friday night for my GF's bday. We spent over $500... One of the worst meals I've ever had.... FIRST, THERE'S NOTHING TACO ABOUT THE SHRIMP TACOS... NO SEASONING, NO NOTHING.... ORDERED FLOUR TORTILLAS, GOT CORN.... MY gf ORDER HER VEGAN TACOS WITH NO CHESE, CUZ... WELL... SHE'S ALLERGIC TO DAIRY... CAME WITH CHEESE ON HER TACOS AND HER REFRIEED BEANS..... WE WILL NEVER GO BACK HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

We LOVE Pepe’s in general, but went here on a rare date day and had the best experience. The bar was well stocked, drinks and food top notch, fast and friendly service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Ray (whom we remembered from Matteson) was, as always, absolutely fantastic and made our day out even more enjoyable. Excellent service by and conversation with Ray will keep us coming back, no question! Thank you for making aour time out so enjoyable!

There is no Pepe's restaurant that even comes close to matching this one in food quality and service for miles around. I love their luncheon specials. Enjoy many items, on a slightly smaller scale, although still large enough to satisfy your appetite. I've been there many times and never left hungry. They also have great Margarita's. Yummy, for sure! Check this place out, I guarantee you will be surprised and satisfied. This is not your 'run of the mill' Pepe's. Enjoy!
