Holly Cafe

Finally stopped in yesterday after wanting to try the food here for awhile. The girl who took my order was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. However, the gluten free chicken salad sandwich wasn’t tasty at all. The chicken salad was sweet instead of savory which I wasn’t expecting, and the bread was horrible! The gluten free bread slice was about half the size of the normal bread slice. I can’t believe I paid $16 for a small tiny sandwich and a bowl of soup to go!!! I’m glad I gave a local business a try but I will not be back.

Usually very impressed with the menu and sandwiches, but today I tried the new French Dip. The bread used is over seasoned and you can't taste much of the meat. The Au Jus is PERFECT and the beef on the sandwich does taste good, there's just very little of it. Expected much better of a French Dip coming from a sandwich shop. Definitely an overpriced sandwich for what you get.

Enjoyed my first visit to this area, so fun to walk around and visit some of the neat antique shops. All that browsing makes you POWERFUL hungry though. When you find yourself looking for a sweet treat, definitely recommend you stop in here for a spell, no tricks just treats. Mini gift shop, baked goods, fun decor!!
