A hidden gem off of Buck Road. My Wife and I visited El Barrio Cantina & Tequila Bar with another couple and we were very impressed by the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. The restaurant has a fun and colorful decor with a Day of the Dead theme. The menu offers a variety of dishes inspired by
First meal on our trip to the USA and it didn’t disappoint! Loved the crispy nachos. Soft tacos were nice and fluffy. Side dishes portions were a bit too large but guess we have to get used to the portion sizes in the USA! Lovely beer menu also. Amazing service.
We finally made it to El Barrio and we loved it. Unique takes on Mexican dishes that did not disappoint. Not only was the food very good but the service was top notch and the restaurant had a cool decor that we enjoyed.

Great great great birria tacos🤤 best I've had thus far and I've had them from SOOOO many different places from north Philly to here and all over. I get mine with cucumbers on the side. Service is always exceptional. Place is beautiful with really nice people. I eat here alot.
The food wasn’t spectacular but overall very solid. The service was wonderful and the host couldn’t have been nicer. The bar was a lot of fun and wow, having a country music combo that is pretty well known made it icing on the cake. We will be back.

I did a catering order with El Barrio and they did not disappoint! I ordered that chicken tacos for 6 people and it was more than plenty. Chris really took care of us especially since it was very last minute in my end. I would definitely use them again!
Some of the best tacos I've ever had. The short rib birria tacos are amazing! The meat is super tender and the consommé is absolutely delicious. Not sure why the ratings here aren't higher. They also have El Yucateco hot sauce, which is amazing if you prefer non-vinegar hot sauces. Will definitely b

I can't say with more enthusiasm how pleased we are with Dave Andrews, our server Destiny and the rest of staff at El Barrio. We just hosted a graduation party for our daughter and were delighted with how it all played out. Dave was easy to work with, responsive to my many questions, and reasonable
Good bar, lackluster food. Great selection if drinks and beer at very good cost. Service was a bit slow but friendly and decent. Food was plentiful but lackluster. Steak fajitas were dry, corn tortillas stodgy, beef tacos bit bland, burrito was good. Would have drinks but not food.

Impressive beer selection both on tap and in the beer room. The food is good as well, the shrimp chorizo quesadilla is excellent. The beer selection definitely keeps me coming back though.
