This place is always good! I like the set up outside and how there’s plenty of outdoor seating. It’s also great that in addition to the drive through, there’s plenty of indoor seating as well. I love the different sundae and combination offerings that they show when you walk in. We always look forward to coming here after a beach day.

First time ever... was out car shopping and last minute seen this place so here I am.
First thing was not busy at all. I think construction in the area probably has something to do with that. I went inside because never been here so wanted to see what the menu was like.
I decided upon Captain Cashew no hot fudge and French fries, minion got mint chocolate chip. The girls behind the counter were very polite and very fast. In and out quickly. Also the food was delicious.. Can't wait to return!

Beat ice cream I have ever had everything was fresh and pecans are to die for. Many differ options that you will find something u are looking for from soft serve, or hard served or sundae and reasonably priced
They have so much to choose from. Today my boyfriend got a butter pecan soft serve (Full of flavor!) I was very excited to find out they have hard serve chocolate. The staff were all very sweet.
Love the different selection of sundaes here! Plus they have hudsonville hard ice cream if you don't want soft. The scallywag s'mores and cookie dough bomb were both great. The cookie dough bomb is three quarters cookie dough and a quarter ice cream, bonus that it's made from ingredients safe to eat raw.
Always a good experience here. They have dairy-free raspberry sorbet, dairy-free chocolate ice cream, and dairy-free vanilla ice cream :)
Helpful and friendly staff, great meeting place for Scout leaders to hold the after-meeting-get-together. Came this time for a Geocaching meet-up event. Thanks and God bless!

We were on our way into town after a long drive and happened upon this location. Captain Sundae is a place that we make a point of visiting once a day every time we visit, but we’d never known about this location. Is it new??
Well, we made the stop! Same great menu they offer at the other locations as far as I can tell. I always get the PB Shipwreck while my husband gets Tommy Turtle. But this time I switched it up just a little! I’d never tried their hard scooped ice cream, but I noticed they had a Puppy Chow flavor. So I just had to ask for a sample! And I loved it, go figure. So I got the PB Shipwreck but with this ice cream instead of soft serve. Talk about amazing flavors!! All the peanut butter and chocolate you could want with a little added crunch from the Chex cereal. I will say that this ice cream is quite firm and takes a while to melt. So if you enjoy soft ice cream like me, you need to be patient. Lol
This place is bomb and we will always come back and eat as much ice cream as we can!!

Love the Tommy Turtle pecan in every bite! Also big rigs no worries there is a church parking lot just across the street so you also can enjoy a treat! Bring your RV or motor home and enjoy at the 247 W 40th St, Holland, MI 49423 location.

Best service you’ll get. I went in on Saturday (10/22/22) at 2:30. There were only 4 people working (2 guys and 2 girls), but they were so nice and helpful. I had a huge order but they were so quick and efficient about it while also being super sociable with me and making me feel like they wanted me there and wanted to help. The ice cream and food was also the best I’ve ever gotten from there. I don’t know any of the names of the people working that day, but they made my experience awesome!
Finally visited the fabled captain sundae with the whole extended family. I was prepared to not eat anything because of my dairy allergy but was pleasantly surprised to learn they had several vegan options. I got a vanilla bean cone and really liked it - good portion even for a small, and it tasted great. The only complaint I could have is that they were obviously understaffed. One girl took everyone's order and slowly made every single treat by herself, which is unfair to both the employee and the customers. Hopefully this isn't the norm! I'll visit again.
