The Connection Cafe

Okay food. Our young waitress was a bit frazzled it seemed. But she looked to be having a few laughs with the other waitresses at the wait station between our table and the bar. She brought out our food and told me my toast would be out in a few minutes. I like to eat my toast with my Sunnyside up eggs. So after 10 minutes of watching her bring toast out to other customers around us, hoping one of those times a plate of toast was mine, (we sat at a table right across at the kitchen doors) I got her attention and asked for my toast. She said "oh yeah" went and got it, but brought me out wheat instead of white like I wanted. It hardly was "toasted" and was soft and I didn't say anything because I didn't feel it was necessary, and I didn't feel like waiting another 10 minutes for new toast to eat with my eggs. We will give this place another try but hopefully have a bit better experience.

I was excited about visiting the restaurant for the first time, but a little disappointed with my food. I ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken looked a little burned. I called the restaurant and they immediately apologized about my disappointment in the food and offered to correct it. I will try the restaurant again. But I do appreciate the kind and courteous service that I received. 4 stars for the staff!

Great breakfast! Been here a few times, always had a great meal. The sitting arrangements is spacious. They seemed short staffed but you wouldn’t know it. The only thing they have to change is how they seat people. Even if you were a table of 2 and there is a table available for two people only, you won’t be seated until the the bigger groups that came before you are seated. So if you see a line of people stick around because it will move fast. They are playing Tetris with the seating arrangements.
