I’ve had hamburgers across the US and to say that this would be in my top 2% best hamburger would be an understatement. The small but cozy fourth generation hamburger joint is a must stop for the hamburger enthusiast. I got my picture with the chef himself as a fourth generation cook. The stove is original back to the 1950s and still producing the best hamburger I’ve had in years from its seasoned grill. I ordered the double cheeseburger and should’ve got two they were so good. Make it your next stop.

Delicious burgers, great prices. The onion rings were perfect. Usually I dont enjoy crinkle cut fries but theses were good.

We got to eat indoors today. I'd much rather shop/eat local vs a large chain. This is a great place to have a burger or chili dog. The people are so friendly and provide an inviting family oriented atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!

Quaint little old school burger joint. It's five stars at that if you know why you're going there.

We stopped in for Lunch at the start of a Bourbon Trail trip. The food was delicious!! The onion rings were one of a kind. It absolutely hit the spot and the prices were the most reasonable of the trip. Would definitely recommend if you are traveling through. If you are going plan to spend some time exploring the Square. #TravelswithJudee

I love this place!!!!! We decided to check it out last week after seeing it in True South. We drove down from Jefferson County and Bullitt County to visit and of course got the legendary cheeseburgers, fries and onion rings. The owner created us with a smile and brief history of the place…..AND added three chili dogs to sample!!! It’s was a cold day but completely worth it!! We will be back for the food and the hospitality!! It was nice to feel that genuine southern hospitality and love of people ….. especially in this day and time. It was a revive for the soul. Thank you!!! Cindy and Keith Dutton Ben Smith

Just had one of the freshest, best burgers in a while! Hand made right in front of the small bar counter. Great ambiance. Great service! Don't miss this place

Locally owned, unique, about nine stools inside at a lunch counter, eat inside or out, watch your burger being made, FOUR times selected as best burger in Kentucky, grilled with fresh cut onion so mild that it blends in to the overall flavor, lettuce, tomato, pickle and mayo as optional toppings, get the double which is a thicker patty, $4, crinkle cut fries, they were out of onion rings when we were there, several regional bottled sodas including Double Cola, talk to the staff...quite a rich history, since 1934, lots of good stories!
