Biggies

We were looking for a place that had steamed clams for my brother in law. We found some good ones at Biggie’s. Tough driving from the Newark airport to get there but worth it. Good food and service. The four of us ordered steamed clams, roasted clams, clam chowder but New England and Manhattan (we liked the New England better), a philly steak, a pork sandwich, and salad. Needless to say we were full. Good beer choices too.

- Honest Review - If you're looking for good seafood this might be the place for you. Ambience - 3 stars Your typical bar/restaurant joint in Hoboken. Loud during games (even when it's empty) and just a place for a quick bite. Service - 1 star Not much to say here. Servers haven't got a clue how to serve food properly. You ask for a water and they'll fill your cup halfway. I was confused at first but as the night went on our waitress refilled my cup of water halfway every time. It was an interesting experience to the least. Another problem was right after she brought out our appetizers not two minutes later out main course came out. So there we are a few bites into our appetizers and our entrées are sitting there getting cold. Instead of feeling like a sit down and eat restaurant it felt more like fast food. I felt rushed and honestly I wanted to go. Food - 4 Stars At last there was one good thing about this restaurant and its the food. The new England clam chowder was perfect. A nice Balance of creaminess, texture and seafood. The lobster Mac and cheese was also delicious (if you like cheese). It has nice sized lobster pieces and the sauce was on point.

I went here with a large group (50) for a world cup game and the best thing about this place was the phenomenal service. The place was fairly empty as the game started and even as they got progressively busier the staff was attentive and prompt. This a large sports bar/pub and with easy access to the Hoboken waterfront and the Path and I recommend this place for a casual gathering. I ordered a burger and fries and they were both yummy. Since I'm an event planner I noticed they have a private room with a small bar for private events downstairs.
