Best steam hoagie around. Been a customer since 1984 when I moved to the Chattanooga area at that they were located in the Northgate Mall. Usually I went there around 1.00 or so, they place was always packed and staffed with employees that were fast with service and very friendly, even in a hurry. T
Their sandwiches are a bit pricey considering they do not include a side. An order of French fries and an order of onion rings cost nearly $7. Add 2 soft drinks at over $2 each And you end up with a bill over $27.
Bleh! First time trying this place. Just spent $20 on two sandwiches. A BLT and ham and cheese nothing but grease and slop. Gross!! I was sooo hungry I attempted to try a bite despite how gross. And spat it right out. Horrible! No doubt if I ate that sandwich I’d get sick.. bottom line don’t eat her
It's not the Glen gene's I grew up with but it's still pretty good. Everything is made fresh and with care so you will be waiting longer than at your usual drive through, but it is worth it.
Not happy with the gyros stack. It came with sour cream. Instead of Tzatziki Sauce. At that was all. The pita was soggie and when I asked about it when I was leaving, she said I have to put on the onions and tomatoes.
I've never had to do that before. .

First time trying Glen Gene. Different than what we expected. But had a good meal. Wide range of choices. Cashier was great at explaining everything on the menu. Also liked the topping bar to added what we wanted to our sandwiches. Good onion rings also. Will be back to try another menu option.

My favorite stop when I’m in Hixson.. I have enjoyed the hot ham and cheese since 2005. I can always expect excellent service and fresh hot yummy food every visit.
