Review Cafe La Fortuna - Hinsdale

Little coffee shop that's kindve hidden in the alleyway. Staff is courteous in my order. Pricing is great ($5 altogether) and tasted great. The old fashioned donut was my favorite. The espresso had a nice kick to it. Inside their is not a lot of room but outdoor seating is available.

A cozy downtown coffee shop with delicious drink and some food options. When I went, there was no indoor seating available, but it does look like they have space for some. I was able to enjoy my coffee just outside under a tent during the rain

Wonderful family owned business and you are greeted at the door everytime. The panni's are great and the coffee is SO good. A little gem in Hinsdale.

The people here are so nice, it’s a small coffee shop and it’s perfect that way. The coffee, the espresso, the pastries, everything is great. Go here!

Hands down, the best coffee in our area. Thank you Angela and team for being so nice and making the best coffee, just the way I like it!

This place is honestly great. It's a feeling of home. Quaint, comfortable and affordable. DEF recommend the Mayan - never had such a delicious kick in the butt so early!

I totally loved the cute place , I was amazed to see that they roast their own coffee there . I had café con leche a Mexican coffee and it was delicious , it brought me back to my days of living in Mexico City ! I was also amazed to see that they had some gluten free loafs which btw , I had the banana one and it was so moist and delicious ! The owner was so so friendly as I talked to her , something I like about places that are like that . I will definitely recommend this nice hidden coffee shop in hinsdale .

The best...the best, like leaving home and never actually leaving. 😈

Love this place. The food is so delicious and is as healthy as you can get besides a home cooked meal!

My young daughter and myself stopped in for some java on a cold windy day and upon walking in the shop we felt uncomfortable. Everyone stopped and turn towards us like we were a disruption. On top of that the ladies behind the counter seemed like they was rushing us out the stop and didn't even want to take the money out my hand. We ordered a Mexican hot chocolate, which was good and a cappacino which was disgusting. Its sad to me when I patronize establishments with my hard earn money that racism still exist. We all bleed the same and you never know when we will crossed paths. I could be that one person that pull over when you have car trouble while others continue on their way. I will not be returning and I'm very disgusted.

This is the best coffee you'll ever have! The food is also truly fresh, tasty & made with quality ingredients. Alejandro & his family own and operate both establishments flawlessly. The coffee beans they use are from their own plantation in Mexico. They roast & grind the beans on site for freshness and maximum benefits. Can't wait to stop in the area again and pick up pounds of coffee to bring back to Joliet!

Is just a good place with great coffee! From Chiapas, Mexico

The coffee is excellent, they roast their own coffee on premises, the fragrance is fantastic. The owners and workers are very polite and engaging. It's a coffee shop with a Post-Modern look yet a friendly feel.

The tamales: pretty good! Good coffee, calm atmosphere. If you haven't been here before tho, menus are printed in a little bin on the counter.

Forget Starbucks! The coffee at Café la fortuna is amazing. Straight from their own plantation in Mexico. It doesn't get any better than this. And it's less expensive too.
