This little hometown restaurant was amazing! We had breakfast. The prices were well within reason and the food was exceptional. The staff was friendly and on top of it. My coffee was never empty, that makes me happy. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a hidden gem.
We visited the Whistle Stop Cafe on our way home from Duluth and were blown away by the service, food and cleanliness of the establishment. Jean was our server and she exceeded our expectations! Stopped in the area on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised!! The food came out quickly and fresh, and tasted AMAZING! The staff looked so happy to be at their jobs and were a pleasure to chat with! I am definitely going to stop here every time iām in the area! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

My kids loved the burgers on texas toast and my Reuben toast was pretty well done but the flavor made up for it!
Make sure you take a homemade pie to go....french silk was the best I've ever had!
