This place is so popular! I went here at 8:30am and was able to get a seat. But while stepping out of the restaurant (around 9:30am), there are already some people waiting outside. I got the 【Mixed Berry French Toast】which is delicious! Plenty of fresh blueberries and strawberries. And the portion size is large- 4 pieces of toast and I had to take half of them home. The Ice Coffee I ordered is also good! Need to mention that the ice they used is not made with water, but with coffee as well! This is very considerate- you could finish your coffee slowly while not have to worry about it getting less flavored!

Wanted a light breakfast and coffee away from the hotel. I was afraid this place would be super packed on a Saturday morning during tourist season and all. Nope, it was perfect! Seated immediately, food came out hot and super fast. The service was excellent. Everyone was helpful and super nice. Like how it should be. It was just such a breath of fresh air to get actual good customer service. I had no problem leaving a 50% tip on my check. Thanks French Bakery for a great experience!! I was too hungry to take a picture of my Great White omelet. But got the delicious cappuccino. 😋

Amazing atmosphere and everything was delicious. The white chocolate pumpkin latte was perfection - so rich and creamy and not overly sweet. The quiche was so rich and flavorful, and the mixed berry crepes were so fresh and fruity, again not too sweet.

We enjoyed our breakfast outdoors this morning and it couldn't have been a better start to our island day. I ordered the Nutella strawberry crepes and my mother ordered the cherry French toast with cream. Both were spectacular!

Wow! Double Wow! This is a must stop for breakfast or brunch. Plenty of choices available including omelets, crepes, and of course, French toast. I had the French toast with mixed berries. The berries were fresh, and the French toast was delicious. I had a side of bacon which was crispy and tasty. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was cool and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Some of the best pastries for sure. Almond croissant was TOO DIE FOR. Fruit tart was absolutely perfect. Mocha was also really good. Any French country side patisserie would be very proud. Merci Beaucoup.

We walked 3 miles from our hotel to enjoy crepes at The French Bakery. This was worth the walk!! We enjoy two sweet and one savory crepe and the savory was hands down the favorite. The service was great. The experience was fantastic. The restaurant was adorable. Overall we are so happy we made the trip. Check hours however because they did close early at 3:00PM.

If you are docked at Shelter Cove, or, if you are on vacation, do not; DO NOT miss this exquisite taste in bakery goods. With an exceptional Staff, you may dine in with your sweetie and your sweet pastry friend! Come over to the back side of the shops ( I lose my sense of direction going around the horseshoe curve) perhaps the SE side very near the quaint, park facing the waterway. Please take my word for this taste-bud fantasy! Keith Carey (Psalm 23)

Beautiful little place with outdoor seating available. Feels like you stepped into Disney Belles’ bakery. Great place for a date or brunch with your lady friends. Food was yummy. Waiter wasn’t on top of refills but still nice. A little pricey but you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing French bakery and restaurant in an excellent shopping center. Convenient from anywhere on Hilton Head Island. They have wonderful 🥐🥖 pastries including chocolate croissants, Madeline's, eclairs, and other danishes. The seating inside is somewhat limited but they do have outdoor seating as well. At peak morning or brunch times prepare to wait. The staff are friendly and helpful however. They do have ♿ handicap accessible 🅿️ parking, seating, and 🚻 restrooms.

We’ve been twice in to this place and we would come back if we did to have to leave. We’ve eaten out all week including upscale places and we totally agreed this was the best meal, both times we went. The food was excellent: fresh, very tasty and big portions. The hot tea was served the way it’s supposed to be: in a teapot and a mug designed for tea and that don’t taste like coffee. Loved it! Both times the waiters were very friendly , courteous and great with their timing. Yes it’s pricy but you get what you pay for! Great quality and healthy food!
