Great Pub Fun! The food is delicious, and comes out hot! My husband loves the chopped Angus, and the drinks are perfect too! Have to give a shout out to our girl Sandi! She is an MVP server with great style! We also love staff members A’lexus, and Sue! We will probably sit at the cozy bar next time but thank you to the hostess as well!

The food was very good. My wife had the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. We sat outside to eat because the smell of seafood was overwhelming inside. It was nice out. Luckily it wasn't too busy because it seemed like they may have been short on servers. Overall a very good experience and good food.

Love the food, and our waitress was great. The only thing I didn't love was the hostess, she was just a little abrasive and seemed to be overwhelmed by the crowd. If people came in without reservations, she sort of snapped at them, saying things like "I have nothing available!" as if people aren't willing to wait 30 minutes or so. This sweet older lady behind us looked crushed when the hostess barked at her saying she couldn't accommodate the her and her husband. It just didn't sit well with me. It wasn't enough to keep me from returning, but I just want other folks to be ready for it, because it can catch you off guard! Otherwise, we enjoyed our experience. We are repeat customers and plan to return again! As far as food goes, all of the "(protein) and chips" menu items are fantastic...the batter is just phenomenal! The Sarazen's Grouper is also amazing if you want something hearty but also on the lighter side. Soft pretzel appetizer is fun and a crowd pleaser.

Got some takeout "sandwedges" the other day. Really good burgers and chicken sandwiches. Service was friendly and quick. The scotch eggs looked really good but I didn't try it that time. Might not be for you if you're not a golf fan since the interior is heavily golf themed. All in all a quality pub.

We stumbled upon this place for lunch and were so impressed! They have a variety of food/imported beer options. The Chicken Pot Pie and Brie/Bread appetizer were cooked to perfection!! All employees were so nice and accommodating. We will definitely return the next time :)

Went for the prime rib special. It was done to perfection but didn't have a lot of flavor. Still a great meal since the au jus had excellent flavor! I had the broiled seafood dinner (shrimp, scallops and cod) and it was fantastic. The side of baked potato casserole was ridiculously tasty and I was assured it was low calorie (sure it is Julie!). Just like the home made carrot cake 😉😉 The staff was terrific as usual...Jen on the bar and Julie as our server. We couldn't have been happier.

It was clear they were under-staffed, but the staff on hand did an excellent job and a little patience was required. The hostess did a nice job seating us at a small table, and moving us to a booth as soon as it was cleaned. My wife had the chicken pie and I had the steak and mushroom pie. Both entrees were delicious with nice filling servings.

Excellent experience. Staff was very nice, we got refills, we were checked on multiple times. Prices are very reasonable and food quality is great. My wife and I heard they were the best fish n chips place in town. We tried them out and agree! Our waitress Sandra L was awesome!

TLDR: It's a cute small place with good food. Can get super busy and tight with the amount of tables crammed in there. I would recommend it overall. Our order: dinner on Jan 6th, 2022. I had the battered chicken and fries (was supposed to have coleslaw but didn't receive it), along with the 'local pretzel' appetizer. My mom had the Irish coffee I pictured and the pretzels. My mom's husband had the Nacho appetizer. Chicken were the light and flaky pieces I wanted. As mentioned above, I was supposed to get coleslaw but they never gave it to me (🙄). The pretzels and nachos were the weakest parts. The pretzels were not hearty tasting, like more German based ones (I'm from Ohio, and a cooking and Germanic background). The pretzels were ok but a bit bland, so not the best. The nachos weren't good, according to my mom's husband; they burned the chips and it was a bit dry, but had lots of meat. My mom loved the Irish coffee ☕. They made it with a double shot as she asked. Pros: 1) Good food with decent prices. 2) Decor is on par (just had to, 😆) with the theme they are going for, golf. 3) Pretty kind staff. They remembered (without prompting) the extra sauces I wanted. 4) They have inside and outside seating options. Cons: 1) I was missing a part of my meal. Even it was just a small coleslaw cup. 2) Tight space, especially when packed. Definitely not socially distant tables (both inside and outside). 3) The appetizers were the weakest part of the meal. They totally need to expand to another place. This place would do well with more space.

Brunch on Saturday and Sunday is nice. Love the scones that you get with the brunch. Bottomless mimosas/champagne appeals to the wife, but I prefer Guinness, which of course, you can get here on tap. And important, but maybe not obvious, is that they pour correctly.

Myself and my husband visited Hilton Head for a few days from Knoxville Tn, we are originally from Manchester England and decided to try the British Open Pub as a treat on Sunday September 26th for our 17th Wedding Anniversary, we were greeted promptly by the lovely host and sat us at our table, I ordered Fish and Chips with a side of brown gravy (i’m from Manchester don’t judge lol) my husband got the steak and mushroom pie, chips and gravy, the meals were amazing, as was the service! I would recommend reserving a table to avoid disappointment as they get super busy!
