After a few nights of southern food in Hilton Head, Ombra Cucina Italiana was a welcomed delight. Our kids split a plain spaghetti and we all shared the poached pear salad, Insalata di Pera e Gorgonzola, which was great. Outstanding! Had dinner here with a large group and we all can't stop raving about the food and service! Whether it was the branzino, the pasta, or the gnocchi... it was all top notch. Desserts were amazing as well. Put this place on your short list!
The Bronzini special was incredibly delicious. My duck breast, unfortunately, was undercooked and the red current reduction bland. We love Ombra and will continue to support the restaurant.
This is the absolute best Italian food around. Fresh pasta is light and delicate. We got the scallops which were the bomb! The mussels - delicious. Ravioli was amazing. Veal dishes were delicious. I had the spinach tagliatelle with bolognese sauce. Omg so good. For dessert we had a lemon cello zabio
Ombra Italiana is an incredible restaurant from start to finish. The hostess was kind and engaging; befriending our young daughter and making her (and us) comfortable.

From appetizers to desserts, Ombra Cucins Italiana never disappoints! Yesterday, Branden provided the best service, and of o course, our meal was spectacular! A few photos, but our meal was so wonderful that we forgot to take pics of our entrées.
Excellent food for a special meal while on vacation. The halibut was excellent. The sauce had great flavor (buttery, light on lemon) but the real treat was the golden raisins mixed with pine nuts and caramelized onions. Yum! A side of whipped potatoes and sautéed spinach.
