Hiro's Place - Hilo - Photo album

Small, cozy place. I got a bento box that was ready to go and some spam musubi. The meat in the bento box was delicious! I really liked how the bento boxes were already created. I think you can get custom orders, but I like the grab and go option.
Plentiful food for good prices, and it tastes great! Basically, this is a fast-food kitchen, like a Panda Express with typical Hawaiian foods. Don’t expect Michelin-Star cooking, but it is good. Outside is a set of sturdy tables, which are regularly cleaned (!). Nice and friendly people behind the c
Local spot that knows locals!!! Lots to choose from. Lots to put you in a hawaiian stroke!!! 🤙🏽
Didn’t have much expectations coming here, but workers were friendly enough, food was hot, reasonably priced, cooked properly, and no complaints! Glad they take card and not cash only
Extremely friendly, reasonable and fast-
Good food, ready made plates, and very good prices. Seems to be a local favorite. Only cost me $12 to feed my family of 4.
Awesome burgers plus basic Chinese and Hawaiian fare, very tasty and affordable
Open food court with KTA and other restaurants. Hiro food is fresh, modest, and more like a restaurant in Japan. I like it a lot.
Good local grinds for good prices with fast and efficient service.
They serve large portions. For me, a plate lunch is enough for two meals but I'm not complaining. I usually order pork blood and pinakbet whenever I'm in Hilo. Winning combination!!
Portions are huge. Tasty. Had the Dinuguan (pork blood stew) and was very good. Ordered other chicken dishes too and was not disappointed.
food can be oily but worth it! best place to get lunch or bentos if you'll be out and about for the day. conveniently located near KTA grocery store. big portions
Great portions for plate lunches. Serving a great Hawaiian Plate tthrough Sat 4/15/23.
Had the Teri-burger and it was very tasty. I don't think you can find a cheaper burger on the island. I will definitely check out the other menu options as they look good too.
Amazing food that hits the spot right!
Heroes is my go-to place for pork adobo and the boneless Korean chicken. I also love the variety of grab and go bentos that they have every day.
