Review The Cornerstone Restaurant And Bar - Hillsdale

We had my daughter's baby shower in Feb and choose the Saturday brunch. I can't say enough good things about the place and the people who work there. The rooms for the shower were well lit and roomy. The workers were friendly, helpful, and attentive. I wouldn't think twice about doing it again. In this day and age of places really not living up to the standard they should-Cornerstone came through.

One of the only places to offer unlimited mimosas included in the price!! Food was amazing (best waffle I’ve had from a brunch, hands down!!) the staff was great and everyone was helpful and friendly. 10/10 recommend their brunch to anyone!!! We got the private room for my mother in laws 60th birthday and it was just beautiful !!

Its a very cozy spot something I wouldn’t have expected from a sport venue. The service was incredibly quick and the food was excellent. The friend Mac & cheese balls were absolutely divine, very soft Inside and a light crunch outside, as well the spicy chicken burrito.

I was there for a baby shower, the place can perfectly accommodate 20-30 people. They have a good bar and brunch is good, plenty of options. There is parking in the back of the building.

Great food, great service. Excellent local joint. We went for brunch twice and can't wait to go again!

We loved it! The place has an old school vintage charm to it. Our host Frank, was thoughtful and very helpful. The food was delicious and we absolutely loved the retro vibe. We landed up on a not so busy Saturday and the service was prompt. We were also surprised by the generous portion sizes.

Someone at a different restaurant told me that here I could order great wings so I decided to pay them a visit. First off the bar is a huge horseshoe shaped area, and I promptly grabbed a seat by the beer spigot next to the take out food pick up station. All of the sudden I started hearing voices which I thought was very weird since I hadn't had any drinks yet. Luckily it was just Danielle the bartender greeting me from the flip side of the bar. She made me feel very welcome and after ordering my drink she also offered a menu. Of course I ordered the wings and the Lentil soup with ham which was the Soup Du Jour. Well let me tell you after Amanda the waitress quickly brought it over I devoured it 'cause it was absolutely yummy. Oh! ...and so were the wings! As I'm feeding my face I noticed an older gentleman by the pickup station next to me waiting for his food which took quite sometime to be ready. I was pleasantly surprised to see how apologetic the staff was, and they even threw in a pizza pie because he had to wait so long. Wow...good going Cornerstone! Finally I met one of the managers named Manny, and I felt compelled to "spill the beans" about my experience there. He was very gracious and attentive. Well needless to say like Gen. MacArthur once said " I came through and I shall return". Thanks Danielle, Amanda & Manny! Elvin

Really nice place. Great food. Large portions. Fair prices. I didn't give them 5 stars because of accessibility issues for the handicap. Otherwise, great place to have a beer and some bar food!
