Such delicious place to get breakfast or lunch & buy the most amazing pastries. Their brownies & crumb cake are to die for! And don't forget the donut holes, but buy them early they go fast!

We LOVE Bay Ave Bakery. The staff is always friendly and the food is great. I eat here more times a week than I care to admit and it’s always one of the first places we bring visitors. My 3 year old is obsessed with the corn muffins but my favorite is the choc peanut butter ganche. We love this little spot in our town.
I love Bay Ave Cafe and Bakery, I probably eat here three times a week because the food is so good and the crew are tops. In the past l have given this place a lower rating and a bad review after a bad experience but they have redeemed themselves big time.)
Generous portions, Apple Crumb cake 😍 was to die for.. everything tasted great!! Def worth the wait!

Best bakery on earth, I HIGHLY recommend the SCRUMPTIOUS crumb cake (too die for), and it is an exceptional great place to stop and grab a great breakfast too, you can taste the freshness!
Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Their biscuits and gravy are phenomenal. Eggs, potatoes and French toast were all great. Highly recommend!

My family & I vacationed in Highlands this week (May 26 - June 3, 2018). One of my daily Highlights after my morning walk was to stop in to the Bay Ave. Cafe and visit owner, Mike and his crew for breakfast and enjoyable conversation. I told Mike I wished his business was back home in my neighborhood in Nashville, TN. Food prepared fresh and from scratch daily, eat in or take out. I hope this business is around for a LONG time!!!
They have the best French toast !!!!!!
Delicious beach town cafe and bakery! Their sandwiches are perfect to grab before heading to the beach and their desserts and bread are perfect to bring to friends homes or your own home for a treat!
The apple crumb cake is to die for. The service is great the breakfast was fresh and delicious.
The breakfast especially the pancakes are DELICIOUS and the crumb buns are heaven on earth

Great place for bagels, coffee cake and other baked goods. Breakfast Sandwiches that are big enough to power you through the day. Everyone is very friendly, go early it can get busy, but the kitchen is fast so rarely a long wait.
Amazing bakery. Fresh bagels especially with a bacon egg and cheese? Impeccable. The peanut butter chocolate cake? Immaculate. Please do yourself a favor and go go go!

We had omelette and two pastries for breakfast. Everything was of excellent quality. It was early in the morning and they were cooking bagels and other sweets. We loved the family atmosphere. Portions are generous and prices modest. Top place!
Grabbed lunch here when arriving in the area and it quickly became my regular stop for a BEC bagel. Delish. Never disappoints, folks in here are very friendly.
This is my go to Bakery in town. They made my 40th Birthday cake and it was amazing. Highly recommended!!!

So glad we found this gem. Wanting a Sunday brunch that didn't involve a lot of crowds, waits & tourists we decided to pop in here. Great food and selection. We loved being able to eat outside and we even took some yummy bakery items to go.
I come here during my break for work. The breakfast sandwich never cease to stun me with how good they taste, they really got something special going on in that kitchen. Last time I stopped in I grabbed a GIANT cinnamon roll for the family back home, let’s just say I was everyone’s favorite that day!

Amazing food. Had the Black Russian sandwich along with a chocolate and marshmallow coconut cupcake and was not disappointed. The cupcake especially was one of the best I've had. My kids were happy with their chicken fingers and grilled cheese sandwiches. Prices were very reasonable as well. Thankfully we live close and will be back again.

Today was my first time at Bay Avenue Cafe and I got the salad with grilled chicken. It was amazing! And the bakery has all homemade cakes and cookies that look amazing as well. I would definitely recommend!
Best. Crumbcake. Ever. Great selection of baked goods, breakfast sandwiches and more. They offer tons of delicious gluten free baked goods as well, which I highly recommend over other overpriced specialty gluten-free bakeries in the area.
